Been having a play today after seeing Disney's logos from Disney+ Platform. I am no Photoshop expert so please be gentle. I'll keep updating what I make. I'll put the PSD into the share once i'm done. So if anybody doesn't like the colours they can change it.. It very basic. My Emby server is setup on an UNRAID server with the Emby created docker. It constantly loses the thumbnail images in the Next Up category. I can re-add them and in a day they are gone. It would appear these are not saved with the media on the server as are other images? What do I need to do to correct this issue, it has become quite annoying Thanks... Will

Hey guys! Thanks for making an awesome app, lifetime member here, and love emby over plex, however there is just one minor thing! I'm having some problems showing the primary art for movies. I've been trying to debug this for a while, but can't seem to find any solution, could you help? It works if i manually download hrough the metadata option. And yesterday all my thumbnails worked, but today they are broken again. tried to do force update as well. Some info from log added. Thanks guys!

Hello, I have following issue: - picture library with "normal" pictures (approx 2000x4000 pixels, 4MB size) - when entering the folder containing the pictures, my CPU hits 100% Running Version 3.2.20.0 on a WIN10 box Thumbs are not cached. Every new session in a browser generates the same problem Is there anything to do about it? Pushing my server in overdrive every time I want to display a picture makes it impossible to use. kind regards, Bart

Any idea why EMBY is no longer creating thumbs when I add TV episodes or movies? Is there a setting somewhere that has changed with the recent updates? Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated!!! Gerry Emm

fanart images saving to extrathumbs but not extrafanart?

Under Library Nfo settings I have "Copy extrafanart into extrathumbs" selected. I'm noticing that when I load up an artist in the library, it tends to download all images into extrathumbs, but only some into extrafanart. I thought it might be an issue with the "minimum backdrop download width" setting, but I tried changing that to zero and still got the same behavior - all images download into extrathumbs, only some download to extrafanart. Any idea what my issue might be here? EDIT: I disabled and the re-enabled copying into extrathumbs... behavior seems normal now! All images downloading into both folders. So I think I'm good here now! -
So I now have all these new, multi-color boxes around my thumbnails on my home screen... How do I get rid of/hide these, as they are very unappealing to me. I have looked around for a bit now and have not been able to find an option to turn them off. Thanks!

I cannot get used to how slow artwork loads and how it doesn't load in the background it has to wait for me to browse the media. Is this normal functionality for emby? It recently asked me to rebuild my library and it's a pain to have to recache all the episode thumbs. they take about 10 seconds to load into kodi on my openelec inter i5 nuc. Prior to emby this was nearly instant, I'm I doing something wrong? TIA!

I had a thread last week where the problem was MOVIES. After updating my Win to Win10, using THE LATEST BETA of Emby (as of current), Movie thumbs (and Persons after scheduling Persons manually) worked. But at the same time, ever since, now I have the problem with TV Shows. See my "example" folder which, as to my knowledge has the correct filenames, in this case for Battlestar Galactica (2003) and also the correct names for the episodes. So I just (for another test) deleted the TV Shows 1 folder and readded it. There are two shows, Battlestar Galactica (2003) and Southpark, NONE of the thumbs show. Log attached. Lots of errors in the log. Please advise. I cut the log BEFORE 17:00pm today because this was the time when I re-added the folder and then had it scanning. (I had the latest Beta running for some days, TV Shows thumbs never worked). Edit: I am aware there are ALSO some errors due to over-long movie filenames, those are not my concern right now. Edit2: There are still errors where it seems as if Emby is looking for XML files which I don't have. (Is it trying to downloading those? I see an error entry where it tried to download a ZIP file from TVDB, search for "Galactica" then you will see). This download failed (404), whatever this ZIP is supposed to contain. emby-log.txt

I accidentally deleted the "My Media" icon for one of my media folders. How can I get Emby to regenerate the thumbnail icons for the folder? Thx.

I installed MBS and everything is working fine except automatic downloading of Studio thumbs. I can do it manually but with about 1000 Studios this not something I would like to do. Am I missing something? Cheers, Sander

Luke, just a cosmetic thing but with the latest beta server I am seeing incorrectly displayed posters and thumbs in the web client. In the "suggested" tab there are some thumbs to the right which are incorrectly displayed as posters instead of widescreen thumbs. If it helps, the movies are set as Movies in the Media Library and the thumbs (recordings of AFL Football) are set as Home Videos. Can I fix this somehow? thanks for looking.
