Hello guys! I'm having a problem with my subtitles in Emby App for Samsung TV (MU6100). The option to choose the subtitle language is there, but when selected, there's no subtitle running, not at all. I've tried in the web app, and it runs fine with the srt subtitle. Hi, I have an issue with my episodes of South Park, I just added them to my library so this isn't a case of 'they used to work, now they don't', they haven't worked properly as of yet. I either get the 'an error occured loading this content' or it begins to play the episode without sound, then the sound begins around 15 seconds later (in sync) and a few seconds later the whole app crashes. I have attached the log - the latest crash occured at 11:00 / 11:01 but the log doesn't appear to have anything listed after 10:05 on a side note, maybe I'm just being stupid but Emby is no longer saving logs to the programdata > logs folder, the only ones present are from a few months ago

Hey Emby Sages, looking for some help figuring out why some flac files play via the web interface and some don't. The errors are presenting in Firefox 59.02. They do not occur via the Android App and when I download the offending file to the local storage I'm able to play it in the client's OS (Rhythmbox). docker logs -f [container name] doesn't yield anything past the success of the entrypoint script. Is there a way (possibly via attach?) that I can get a better look at what the decoding/encoding error might be? Thanks in advance Mike

When I select the default profile and click the Treatments, Specific Covers, or Indicator Overlays tab, I get the following error: Not Found The requested URL /configurationpageext was not found on this server. What is worse, there is not way to go back from the error page (clicking the back button in the browser takes me back to the same error page).

Hi Trying to update server from 3.2.50 to 3.2.70 and I get the following error message when the installer tries to download the new version. I tried the old installer I had from the last update and I tried downloading the latest installer but nothing seems to work. Any ideas? Thanks, Martin

Log attached. This was working well but I think I messed up something on my machine. Perhaps the attached logs can tell someone what I need to fix to make this work again. I would post a ffmpeg log but it didn't create when when the file errors out. See attached. Any help you can provide is appreciated. I have been working around the problem by using Blue Neon emby which still gets an error but then moves past it to play the content. Hi, Running Emby 3.2.36.0 on my FreeNAS server, and lately i've seen some problems with Subtitle manager, it won't download the latest subs to latest tv-series/movies for me and im not getting the problem... im an VIP member on OpenSubtitle so it is not an issue with to many downloads, and it has worked perfekt the first half of this year atleast, and as you can see in download.txt logg it downloads subs, for some reason swedish versions of older series works, but getting error on newer subs as you can see in Error.txt looking for som new eyes on this, hopefully its something realy easy that i've missed. thanks in advance! from an swedish noob Error.txt Download.txt

Hello, I have since a few days issues with scanning my library. Prior upgrading to the beta, this happened: After upgrading to the beta, this happens: I checked the folders, the data is available, i can read it, move it, but emby is not able to scan it. Hello - I received the notice that version 3.0.5972 of the Emby Windows Server was available. I downloaded the Stable Release setup.exe file and executed it. The setup process starts, it does the "verifying application requirements" step window and then pops up an error message/box titled "Cannot Start Application" and a message that the "Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor." Clicking the Details... button opens a log file which I've attached. I've copied the ERROR SUMMARY section from the log file below: ERROR SUMMARY Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log. * Activation of http://emby.media/emby/server/release/MediaBrowser.Server.Installer.application resulted in exception. I have had two of these windows errors over the last 2 days. Emby Shuts down but does restart. I have not had Emby Server throw out windows errors before. So I thought I should report it. Hi, I'm running Windows EMBY server: Version 3.1.5.0 I've been getting Refresh Guide, Clean DB failures etc. It looks like SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException Error is the cause. I'm attaching the log extract that shows this error. Any advise on how to fix this? Thank you, LogExtract.txt

Have a very strange problem going on here. I am hoping someone can help me out. Recently got a new Sony Android TV (XBR-55x850d) love it but I am having some issues with Kodi/Emby. Downloaded from Google Play Kodi 16.1, installed Kodi added the Emby for Kodi add on and configured it using Native mode in Kodi. It scanned the library and 4+ hours later looked like it was good to go. I played a few different shows/movies all good. Not even 1 library sync crash. Came back later on - possibly a day or two later and Now I am getting the dreaded File no longer in library error. There of course is no changes in the library setup wise probably added a few new episodes/movies etc. But I haven't ripped apart the network or changed servers, install or reinstall anything. I have tried what I usually do to fix this error (and I don't see it very often at all maybe twice on one client box) - perform a manual sync but this did not fix my issue. I can access and play everything on my Server/HTPC and all (two) client boxes (windows 10 minix boxes) - in Kodi and also thru Emby. Files are there, play fine. This library is configured using SMB shares from the server. So I tried a few things (on the Sony TV) that I had never had to do before one of which was switch Kodi playback to addon mode - This partially fixed things but was inconsistent. I did not play every movie but the ones I did (5 or 10) played normally (a bit slow to play but they played) - episodes same thing. But some episodes were now giving me the File no longer in library error - I checked the paths to these episodes and they were still showing SMB:\\ paths, but the episodes/movie that played show plugin paths. Tried repair syncs, manual syncs etc. Nothing fixed it. So I deleted everything Kodi related - basically reset it to zero. Reconfigured everything in Kodi - set for native playback mode and did a resync came back this morning and I am back to episodes playing but every movie I tried gives the File no longer in library error. I guess I should add the Emby client on this Sony TV has no issues playing any media - plays all the movies that fail in Kodi. I have checked all the SMB shares and permissions - no problems didn't expect any since Emby client has no issues. Even set up an NFS share for a test folder same results. I am attaching the Kodi log from the Sony TV and the Emby server log from the server. I don't know if there is a log for the Emby for Kodi add on or where to find it if there is one. I am not sure if this is a Kodi problem or Emby. I suspect the Emby for Kodi add on but I am guessing. Also not sure where to post this one. If it is in the wrong location please move. I've just setup an fresh OpenMediaVault Install with emby enabled. So far everything went without problems, but now I'm stuck. Embys Library Scan is not working at all - it doesn't even try. If I click the scan button the progress bar is visible for just a fraction of a second - the log shows "scan completed on 0 minutes and 0 seconds" and of cause no movies show up in my library. I've already tried different folders, reinstalling emby and resetting the permissions of the media-folder. No luck so far... Hi Guys, So I've noticed that some of my collection information isn't being pulled from the movie db site. The site looks like it doesn't work anymore so i was just wondering if any of you know a solution? Also there is only one link that you can put in the settings for collections to pull the data where as individual movies you can add three links from three different sources. Can that be changed?

Okay so today I decided I would try to start using Emby for my Music as well... Not sure if that is going to happen as I am currently trying to scan my Music folder for Music and nothing happens. I have it setup with the folder structure "Music\Artist Names\Album Names\Song Name.mp3" and all my files have been properly tagged with MP3Tag and work with multiple programs. So not sure if I am doing something wrong or if this is a bug with the latest update but I figured I would report this.

EDIT: There is a temporary fix for the issue below, please see tehfist's answer. Hello! I am seeing a problem when trying to download subtitles from opensubtitles. I will always get a 403 error regardless of the movie I choose to refresh. According to the API a 403 means "SubHashes (content and sent subhash) are not same!". I have no clue what this means. Hello, I have an error on Emby for Kodi. I updated my server and Emby for Kodi, and since, all features of Emby for Kodi doesn't work... I tried with Beta and stable versions of Kodi for Emby with the same result. I reset all settings and emby database : same things... I tried many settings but nothing works. I have no more idea. Please can you help me. In the log, the problem seem on Emby.Database. Greetings, I had my emby server worked flawlessly under Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. When I upgraded to 16.04 LTS, the package was removed. I reinstalled it from the official PPA and since, I get the following error whenever a media scan is initiated.
