    Raspberry Pi Emby Server

Yesterday I was looking at Plex, trying to see if I could set up a server running on my raspberry pi. So I thought I would try it out first on my windows computer. I really liked it but soon realized the free version that I using required me to still pay £3 something to 'activate' it otherwise I could only watch 1 min of video. I started looking for free alternatives to Plex and quickly found Emby, It looked really nice, had a free version that I could actually watch something with and had a Linux server. When I tried this out on my windows computer and watched some videos from my NAS (its an old WD sharespace and I don't think you can run the emby severs straight off that but it would be nice if I could). I then got downloading raspbian and loading it up onto my pi, just a warning I have pretty much no programming or linux knowledge except from setting up XBMC (that I didn't really like) and writing a very simple program in python. I kept getting errors on my pi so i tried arch Linux, more errors, raspbian again, more errors and i think another distribution and even more errors. Even after googling the errors, it never worked. Later that night I gave up and looked into new synololgy NASes that support Emby server and then move my WD greens across but the cheapest ones where about £175 i think. So then this morning i was looking at a small cheap mini pc then have the server and maybe even a proxy server (just for when i go on holiday so i can watch bbc) and i found the Intel compute stick and i could just have it hanging there, not plugged into a tv but there was so ethernet and i defiantly didn't want to use WiFi. I ended up coming back here and looking at the raspberry pi. If anyone can find or make either a simple install method, an installer or even better an ISO with a working linux version on it (im not really expecting that but maybe it would be nice for the emby team to include that on their downloads page for other confused people. Thanks, Max

    Emby Intro Green

Hi, I just made this intro for Emby.. hope you like it https://mega.nz/#!xhJiGI6L!qTwq403bSAEp6vRLxJY6QHoZ2ydF7mWi_VlDWIfSAjs Regards, Spirit
  3. Hi Gang, As a long time HT enthusiast, I recently bought an AS-204T and loaded it up as a storgae solution for my media collection, to upgrade my aging DLink solution. Having trialled a number of media server solutions (Twonky = ok, no transcoding, MiniDLNA = Fast, no transcoding, Plex = Feature-rich, doesn't play friendly with Kodi... in fact it breaks the database) I thought I'd try our Emby, as all the Kodi users out there say it's the best solution for a Kodi frontend, as the databases are both natively cross-compatible. I can install Emby on the NAS from App Central, it informs me that it will install dependent apps "Mono" and "XOrg" at the same time. Neither install at the same time. I can install Mono as a standalone, but noit XOrg. XOrg doesn't even show up in the app central area for my NAS, but does show up as a downloadable APK elsewhere on the Asustor site. This APK won't install either, giving the error that it's not a valid installer or is corrupt. I think Emby should work if I can get both of those apps installed. Does anyone have a lead on a working installer for the XOrg app for Asustor NASs? Cheers gang!!!
  4. Hey guys, when I update an actor image in the web client of Emby Server (3.2.26) it gets removed instantly. Reloading the metadata doesn't bring them back. This just happens to my anime section. Updating my movie or tv show actors works fine. Please help. EDIT: I just found out that this just happens to some of the japanese actors. Still don't know why.

    Emby theater Skin Mockups

Figured id start a post for anyone that might want to make a new skin for emby theater in the future. These mockups were already posted in the emby theater thread, but figured id start with these and add more in the future. One of the reasons I love Kodi is all the different skins. Would be cool to have that with emby someday, skins to suite everyone's tastes. Id love to make some myself but I cant code for the life of me. So Ill stick to just drawing up some ideas for others. Mockup 1 ARRAY: An enhanced version of the default emby theater skin.

    Emby Premiere Notification

I recently contributed to the Emby premiere, imagining having access to the features and also removing boring and interrupting / redirecting messages out of the system. I would like to understand why Emby premiere did not disappear on the front page, where it shows: "Discover Emby premiere (Enjoy Emby DVR, get free access to Emby apps, and more.") Please help me.
  7. I'm going to be going away without internet access next month, so I thought I'd try out the sync feature on my Windows tablet (proper Windows 10, not RT) and get a few tv shows and movies synced to it in lower quality (to save space on the small 32gb MicroSD card) than I could get by just copying the files directly. Plus, I'd rather use an Emby GUI as an interface while watching media. I've tried both "Sync" and "Download" in the dashboard web app, Emby Theater, and Ember; all with the same problems: Titles seem to get stuck on either queued, or ready to transfer. I've removed and restarted them multiple times, to no avail. the few times I had a notification telling me something completed downloading, when I went offline on my tablet, the files either weren't there, or wouldn't play (black screen). I've tried setting the sync/download folders to my tablets internal storage, as well as an external MicroSD card (preferable, as I don't have much internal storage). Also, I'm a little confused as to the difference between "Sync" and "Download". Which would be preferable in my case, where I'd like to conserve disk space for offline viewing? I don't care which app I use, whether it's Emby Theater, or Ember; as long as I can get it working by next month. Let me know if there's any more information that might help. I've removed all of my sync jobs, so I can start from a clean slate; hopefully with some guidance. Thanks, Patrick
  8. Hello everybody! Since a long time ago I wanted to share my server setup in this awesome forum, sorry for my english in advance . In my university residence some years ago everybody was constantly asking for external HDD's to share movies and tv shows, so one day I wondered what could I do to make this sharing simpler. After using Plex for several years I switched to Emby cause Plex added a 100 users limit share and we were +-120 users. I rented a SoYouStart Opteron Server with 6Tb of storage in order to make Emby accesible outside the residence's LAN. Everything was perfect but we were (all the users) paying 45€ a month for the server, in addition I hadn't control of the hardware and if I wanted to change something or add more disk space was impossible. So with the installation of 300/300 fiber in my house, I decided to setup a home server and migrate all the stuff from the cloud server to my home server. That way we'll only have to pay for the electricity and the initial hardware cost. So, went to amazon and started looking for a nice budget setup for my server, the key of the purchase was the energy saving. The home server specs are the following: - Intel i5-6600 Processor - Asus B150M-A Motherboard - 2x4Tb HGST Desktar NAS HDD's (installed in Software RAID 0), for storing the media files - Kingston SSDNow V300 120Gb for the OS and Emby metadata, etc. - 16 Gb DDR4 HyperX Fury Kingston RAM - Corsair Series CX430 PSU The system is running under Ubuntu 16.04 after trying to do it under Debian 8.5, but the system due to the recent processor and the Linux Kernel in Debian 8.5 (I suppose) wasn't very stable with Emby. In order to do the migration transparently for the users I downloaded all my library (1300 SD Movies, 500 1080p 5Mbps Movies and 130 SD TV Shows) from the cloud server to my 8Tb /home partition in RAID 0, after this I installed and configured Emby and letting it scan the library and download all the metadata (notice that I didn't back up the library from the cloud server, just the users and their play status). With this completed, I configured my TP-Link wr1043nd router with OpenWRT installed to forward the necessary ports to the server, and setted up a dynamic DNS with NOIP as my ISP IP is dynamic. Everything almost ready, users backed up in the cloud server and restored in the home server I switch my Domain to point to my home ddns instead of the cloud server and watch the users loging in. Everything was fine and nobody noticed the change (correction, somebody had dns issues but after erasing history and cookies in their browser the problem was solved). The average number of users connected at the same time is 5-10, with 20-30 in peak hours (siesta time 3-4pm, after dinner 11pm, before luch 1-2pm, you know spanish regime ), almost everybody uses the server through the Web interface (some tablets or chromecast but it's 5-10% of the users) so what I do to deal with transcoding, or better said, how do I do to AVOID transcoding without losing quality. It's very simple, the solution was to convert all the media to h264/AAC/mp4 with a daily script which executes ffmpeg at 2am, looks for .avi or .mkv files and converts them to h264/AAC/mp4. The script is veeeery veeery simple (i'm not a scripting or programming boss) and this is the conversions it does: (quality/video_codec/audio_codec/file_extension) Input --> Process --> Output ------------------------------------ - Movies and episodes in sd/mpeg/mp3-AC3/avi: sd/mpeg/mp3/avi --> x264 CRF 20, audio_bitrate aac 128kbps, web_optimized --> sd/h264/aac/mp4 -Movies in sd/h264/DTS-AC3/mkv sd/h264/DTS-AC3/mkv --> video stream copy, audio_bitrate aac 128kbps, web_optimized --> sd/h264/aac/mp4 -Movies in hd/h264/DTS-AC3/mkv with video bitrate around 5mbps hd/h264/DTS-AC3/mkv --> video stream copy, audio_bitrate aac 192kbps, web_optimized --> hd/h264/aac/mp4 For movies with bitrate over 5mbps I use another script to do a 2-pass conversion cause it takes time for each file. In addition the scripts removes all subtitles and conserves only one audio track in spanish. The question now is, why I do this? Well mainly because all my users don't care about DTS, surround or having a 20mbps full hd bluray. The only thing they want is that the movie plays well, fast, and good quality if possible, so this is a way of optimizing resources and disk space. The SSD gives an amazing speed charging the menus and all the web frontend I really recommend it, the server is now running perfectly and growing little by little. Oh! important, I have one directory for SD movies and another for HD movies, and for TV shows the structure is like this --> /home/shows/show_name/season/episodexx.avi Hope you like it! and if you have questions I'll be pleased to answer them. (converting script attached and modified for understanding, the script is named wololo , if you played Age of Empires you should know why ). wololo.txt
  9. Hi, Before I was using Emby, when I'd use Kore to control Kodi, if something was playing, the Kore app on my android device would show the backdrop, poster etc within the App. Now after setting up Emby and using it within Kodi, the Kore Remote no longer shows the poster or the backdrop within the App. The cast pictures and preview image are also no longer showing in Kore. Within the folders for each TV Show/Movie on the media server I can see the folder.jpg and the backdrop.jpg and they display fine within the web access to Emby and within Kodi. My guess is that Emby is storing these media within it's own database and while these images are available via the addon in Kodi, it's not the case for the Kore app. Anyone else seen a similar thing or have any ideas what to do? I'm reluctant to change the settings in Emby to store the media within the TV folder because that will change the modify dates on the folders and ruin the order within Kodi (sorted by date modified), but if that's what I have to do, that's what I have to do. Attached are some screenshots, 2 from a computer I've not installed the Emby Addon in Kodi (Kodi1 & Kodi2) and the other (the main mediapc) has the Emby Addon installed (Emby1 & Emby2). Any idea on what I should do to resolve this? Thanks.
  10. Hi, I purchased lifetime premiere a few months ago and have yet to successfully play back media using the Emby Theater app without the "unlock this feature with an active Emby Premiere subscription" pop up. I do have the gold coin on the front page of the admin page on a web browser and have access to the other Premiere features through the standard web browser. I tried multiple computers, and clean installs of Emby Theater. -On the side note. Every few logins using a typical computer web browser (tried multiple), I get the annoying Emby Premiere ad on my homescreen. I tried to sign into the theater app using Emby Connect, and my Emby user account with no change. Any ideas?
  11. Good afternoon friends I need you to clarify a doubt. Does Emby Premiere only allow 15 simultaneous accesses at a time for each subscription? Even though it is by the chrome browser? If yes, how do I get permission for more than 15 simultaneous accesses? Can I buy another premiere account and add 15 more accesses, so I can have 30 hits? Thanks friends, I'm going to invest in new equipment to be able to expand to a lot of users. thank you Boa tarde amigos Preciso que sejá esclarecido uma duvida.

    Help with my future build?

Hey - apologies if this comes across as a noob post or whatever, I've recently been introduced to Emby and I am absolutely amazed with it, it's absolutely fantastic, so good that I've decided to host my own Emby server. I'm looking at spending anywhere from £300-500 (although this can be pushed up slightly if need be) for my build. I've considered these things currently: Mac Mini (16GB Ram, i5 Processor, 240GB SSD) HPe Proliant ML10 Gen9 HPE ProLiant Gen8 G1610T 819185-421 (4GB RAM) MicroServer Storage won't be a problem as I'll have a 8TB NAS to start with. My requirements so far are: Steam to 3 devices in the same household. (Will most likely be 3 at the max, but maybe potential for 4-5) Be able to stream remotely to 1-2 people (If I'm at my girlfriends house or travelling for work) Do either of the 3 I've posted look like they could do what I require? Or do any of you kind folk know a better build that will give me more bang for my buck? I'm not opposed to building the server myself out of parts, just trying to get some knowledge here. Many thanks

    Need help to install certificate

Hi, I've tried to follow all the guides out there to add a certificate to my Emby server, unfortunately without success. Today I'm running my Emby server on Ubuntu 17.04. I own my own domain but I already use the main domain for another server that I has as a webserver. So I would like to have a sub-domain for my Emby, so I have created an address that looks like this: emby.domain.com I have managed to use free certificates on my web server via Certbot, but when I try to do the same way on my Emby server with my sub-domain I get some authentication error message. So I would really appreciate if someone would give me some really good instructions on how to install a certificate on my Emby-server. Have tried this already: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/44757-setting-up-ssl-for-emby-wip/

    Music playback issue

Hello, I haven't found anything relevant but if something similar has been posted before, I am sorry in advance. I am having a long time now an issue when streaming my music library through the iPhone EMBY app. I haven't mentioned it before as I wasn't using that feature often but lately I like listening to my music too through EMBY. So, the problem is when I stream music through my iPhone EMBY app (playlist, songs in queue, shuffle mode etc.), after a while, always (if not immediately) I have to unlock my phone for the next song to continue playing on the list. This is most inconvenient especially when I am in the car driving and always have to press the iPhone button (sometime that alone only works) or even having to unlock so the next song in the queue can play. Even through the Samsung TV app it hangs from time to time but it’s not as bad as the iPhone app. I know EMBY is mainly for movies, and for that it works extremely well, but it would be handy to be able to use it smoothly for mp3's as well. I would expect it to work on the background but it doesn’t seem to like it when the device locks. Anyone having similar problems? Thanks in advance, George
  15. Hey guys, just wondering if anyone's experiencing laggy/choppy emby theater desktop user interface? i've had this issue since day dot of the new theater, across multiple PC's, multiple TV's, and still unable to pinpoint it. Both boxes I've tried it on have been dedicated HTPC's, with nothing but NVidia drivers, emby server, emby theatre, windows 10 and windows 10 with CU, mpchc, lav, madvr. The current hardware it's running on is asus maximus ix rog mobo, i7-7700K, 16gbddr4-3200mhz, m.2 intel ssd, and gtx 1070, displayed on a Samsung KS9000 tv. Surely this hardware is capable of running the UI smoothly? I've also tried changing the increasing the priority on the electron and emby.theatre processes in taskmanager, running as administrator, adjusting NVidia driver settings to run exe's with different quality/performance settings, etc. I've tried reinstalling NVidia drivers, and re-installing emby theatre. I've noticed the emby theatre UI doesn't load up true full screen no matter what, but instead as a full screen sized window. I found in older versions I was able to shrink to a smaller window, and then re-maximize which would go proper full screen, and I'd get slightly better UI performance, but no dice this time around. Has no effect at all. I'll get a few good seconds of buttery smooth UI transitions, and then jitter city like I've gone back into 23hz. What I've just thought of now but haven't tested is wiping out all artwork, and getting it to re-download it all to a single location (cache area of emby theater on the ssd).. if that's possible.. instead of the media folders.. or does emby server grab the artworks from the local media folders and cache them anyway? accessing it from there? another thing to note: emby server is pointing to local drives, ie: G:\Storage\, as opposed to network location \\MEDIA-PC\Storage, as Emby Theater is also running on the same box as the server app. anyone experienced it or know anything else I can try? Cheers

    Emby Connect linking issue

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not... but, I have tried to add email addresses to user accounts (including mine), but Emby Connect is not recognising them. Usernames work fine though. Any suggestions?
  17. Ombi has started to support Emby. Its really cool !! In my server Emby and Ombi is running over my two different port. Now is there any way to integrate Ombi inside Emby ? or add a new page on Emby menu for ombi ?

    Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes

Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes http://imgur.com/a/bNlCO The beloved theme which has had an 80 page run with Kodi Isengard (v15) returns in Kodi Jarvis (v16) as Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes. As @@im85288 and @@badaas move on to Eunique (which so happens to use From Ashes' Audio Suite so check it out!) long term support custodianship of what I personally like to believe is one of the best themes currently out for Kodi has fallen to me. Although updates won't be as frequent as they once were, the point of From Ashes is to ensure that it continues to work in Jarvis and beyond. Released Christmas Eve, Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes features all the enhancements made to the Kodi experience by its predecessor while introducing new enhancements such as the Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes Audio Suite to ensure that you have an engaging multimedia entertainment experience. Current Version: 3.4.70 (December 13, 2016) / 4.9.92-alpha9 (January 08, 2017) Official Sites Official Site: https://northebridge.com/systems/oss/kodi/fromashes (IN DEVELOPMENT) Kodi Forums: http://forum.kodi.tv/editpost.php?pid=2227162 Emby Forums: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/29180-arctic-zephyr-from-ashes/ Lifecycle Policy To help ensure and maintain the Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes experience, NortheBridge has imposed a lifecycle policy. Each major release of Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes undergoes several phases during the active life of the Kodi addon: Preview Availability (PA), General Availability (GA), Long Term Support (LTS), and End of Life (EoL). The lifecycle policy for Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes is available at https://northebridge.com/systems/oss/kodi/fromashes/lifecycle as well as displayed below: Arctic Zephyr: Exploded - Kodi 15 Isengard - Initial Release: April 2015 - Status: End of Life (November 2015) Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes - Kodi 16 Jarvis - Initital Release: December 2015 - Status: LAST CALL UPDATE (November 2016) Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes (Danvers) - Kodi 17 Krypton - Initial Release: August 2016 - Status: Preview Availability (August 2016) Arctic Zephyr: For Another Age - TBD/Future Successor Requirements (Kodi 17 Krypton) Kodi Krypton (v17) NortheBridge by Design® Repository or the Emby Beta Repository Optional Suggested Addons (Kodi 17 Krypton) Get Emby Server (All Platforms) Install the Emby Server Addon for Kodi Kodi 16 (Jarvis) Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes support for Kodi Jarvis (Kodi 16) is coming to an end and is now in "End of Life" Status. As of November 2, 2016, it is no longer supported and will not receive future updates. However, we understand that not all devices are Kodi Krypton ready yet. The installation is a little different on Jarvis than it is on Krypton. Rather than installing from a Repo, you'll need to download the zip file from the "How to Get It (Release Channels)" section below and you'll need: Emby Beta Repository Script.Duration which is also available in the Emby Beta Repository Description Conceived in April 2015 as "Arctic Zephyr: Exploded," by @@im85288 and @@badaas before later being curated and published by NortheBridge as "Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes," authored by @Guardian Hope - From Ashes is the second generation and successor of the "Arctic Zephyr: Exploded" skin for Kodi and introduced support for Kodi Jarvis while retaining its predecessor's capabilities and design. Now that the From Ashes Project is moving into its second year, the third generation of the skin - "Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes Danvers" is now co-authored by @Guardian Hope and minus0 and introduces new features and design aesthetics for a modern skin intended for Kodi Krypton. It continues to be published by NortheBridge and is based on the original Arctic Zephyr created by Jurialmonkey although many have posed the notion that Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes is in its own right, a skin by itself due to how far it has diverged from the original. History This From Ashes project has existed on the Emby forums since 2015 and was brought to the Kodi forums with the release of the "Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes Audio Suite," into the official Kodi Repo the latter available for use with any skin or skin modification provided the appropriate credits are given. Officially, the "Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes Audio Suite" is used in Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes and Eunique but will work with any skin. Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes supports everything its predecessor did except it has moved well beyond in both design and scope. The idea is to stay true to AZ:E (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=223715 / http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/19594-arctic-zephyr-exploded/page-1) while advancing forward with a theme favored by a lot among the Emby community. I'd like to also thank @@im85288 and @@badaas for making such a great theme! This theme is the reason I stuck with Kodi after Windows Media Center was removed from Windows 10 Pro. I also believe a special thanks to @@marcelveldt is in order who was the one that created the skin helper which this and virtually every other theme here relies upon. Continued Development As I had mentioned earlier, development will continue on Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes although the pace may be quite slow at times. One of the best ways I have found to speed up seeing things that you want to see is that if you know how to develop Kodi addons and themes, simply hop on over to GitHub and contribute. It is a community theme now after all and a contributors page will be in the next release! http://imgur.com/a/0aw3A
  20. I have been trying to get Emby to run on an android device running Kodi. Every time I have installed it, I get an error within a minute of Kodi loading. The error ends up saying "ImportError: cannot import name SNIMissingWarning". For the setup: Server: I have Emby server running on a windows 10 machine and it works fine except that I can not get the settings right to load when I boot. I have the 'Run server on startup' set under settings of the dashboard. Client1: On my laptop, I can go to "http://app.emby.media/dashboardgeneral.html"under chrome and everything works fine. Client2: Android device (cheap box to run Kodi; originally set up with all the programs to run a lot of stuff from tv.addons; still trying to get all this removed) running Android 5.1.1 API level 22; Kodi 16.1. For Emby, I have tried both repositories at 'http://kodi.emby.media/'. In going through the forum, I did find a similar problem from a windows box having the SNIMissingWarning posted by user kro on 24 February 2016 - 04:47 AM. AngelBlue05 seemed to find a solution but I could not figure it out from the forum posts. It seemed as if by changing this setting fixed it: In the add-on settings > Emby > HTTPS, do you have verify host ssl enabled? I do not see an HTTPS setting under Emby's settings on my version. Under settings, I have "General, Sync options, Video Playback, Extras and Advanced". I do not see anything about HTTPS under any unless they show up by changing something from the default. I have tried both connect methods of Manual and Emby Connect. I have also turned off Enable fast startup(I don't remember installing a plugin for this). When either I boot Kodi or try to start Emby, I get an error on the screen saying "Emby error: Check the log for more information". I have gone through the log and found that the problem is that the emby cannot find a version of urllib3 that contains SNIMissingWarning. Emby Connect question

Hi @@Luke @@ebr, I would like to know how Emby Connect is supposed to work. I invited my mum to my server by clicking add Guest and entering her email address. She created the account and accepted the request. Is her user then supposed to automatically appear in the guest or user area?
  23. Hi Guys. I'm fairly new to this community, hell this is my first post ;-) Im not as tech savvy as the next guy, however I get by. I have installed and been using Serviio as my server to stream all my media to my Minux Neo U1. Dont get me wrong, it works flawlessly. I love how you have total control over disabling all those useless folders, genres and all that crap. I like my folder view to be simple. I have three folders, Movies Anime Tv I can access the folders that I share as I see them on my computer. No added category's or any of that. I disabled transcoding as the minux is capable of playing anything I throw at it. I've been hearing alot about Emby and I researched abit about it, and I must say its absolutely gorgeous. So I installed it onto my windows machine, and installed the add-on via kodi. I wasnt fond of all the different folders everywhere, too many to mention. Im hoping I can change that and only display the root folders and the content within them. Anything I play through Serviio, no hang, no freezing, no buffering, plays flawless. I cant even get anything to play with Emby. It doesnt just hang or freeze, my whole box freezes. Mind you, I had both Serviio and Emby running at the same time on my Windows PC. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction, as I'm sure if I played around with the category's displayed and fixed the issue with playback I would switch to Emby in a heartbeat. I dont know why everyone is buzzing about it? Is it just me? :'(

    Strange kodi/emby smb bug?

Hi all, Yesterday i installed emby server and configed it as i wanted, after that i connected my android Shield (SPMC) with the emby server, after some tweaks i had no problems playing all of the content thru the native mode. Today i tried to connect a second kodi machine (intel Nuc + Libreelec 8.01) to the server, made the same settings and tried to sync, then a strange problem appeard. the message was Kodi cant locate file smb://SERVER/SERIES/MOVIESsmb://MOVIENAME.mkv The normal path would be: smb://SERVER/SERIES/MOVIES/MOVIENAME.mkv So for some strange reason there is a "smb://" in the middle of the file name, the shield doest have this problem, so it looks like there is a bug or something in libreelec / emby for kodi ? or iam i missing something? In the Log files i cant find anything thats giving me a hint or something The problem only exists with movies, series (same settings other path) work directly Hope somebody can shine a light. Kind Regards
  25. Hi, I was under the impression that all of the client apps were supposed to have the same layout. My request is that a setting be added to all apps to allow users to view the apps either by Web, Theatre, Android, iOS or other app layouts. I use Emby Theatre for Xbox One and sometimes the web app in Chrome, but prefer the layout of the Xbox One app... and can not stand the layout of the Android TV app, which I use when visiting my parents.
