For me, SoundCloud is one of my favorite sources for music content. I love digging through its content and following connections between SoundCloud users. Having this content available within Emby would allow accessing it even from situations where you got nothing more than a remote control at hand. The existing SoundCloud channel plugin apppeared to be of rather low value to me. Personal information (with login) was limited to playlists and the implementation was subject to quite a few bugs and issues and hasn't been updated to accomodate the API changes at SoundCloud. At this point I decided to update and extend the existing code a bit --- and ended up with an almost complete re-write. In the following posts I'll describe what's new...

Whatever video I play, using Firefox 41.0.2 on Arch Linux and Emby server 3.0.5780.36522 on Ubuntu 15.10, I have no sound. The video itself seems to play fine, and using Chromium on Linux, or even Firefox on Windows, the audio plays fine too. The issue is just on Firefox on Linux. According of reports of some people I know, they had the same issue using Firefox on Linux. I made sure the audio is not muted both on the system and in the web player, and I have a proper audio file selected.

Hi @@Chubby Arse and @@e123enitan, I decided to switch to MP since WMC future in Windows10 is up in the air and im also having issues with the back to back recordings (posted on the ServerWMC sub-thread). I have everything wokring in Kodi and when i preview Channels in the TV server config. Im using a Hauppauge Colossus, MPExtended 0.6, Emby server Beta 3.0.5572.0 and MP 1.11 The reason there is no sound is because the output file is coming out as AAC audio instead of AC3 Audio ID : 64 (0x40) Menu ID : 137 (0x89) Format : AAC Format/Info : Advanced Audio Codec Format version : Version 2 Format profile : LC Muxing mode : ADTS Codec ID : 15 Bit rate mode : Variable Channel(s) : 2 channels Channel positions : Front: L R Sampling rate : 48.0 KHz Compression mode : Lossy Delay relative to video : -37ms Any ideas

Is there a way to set audio normalization in the server settings? I stream to an Asus Chromebox using the web client hooked up to some computer speakers. The ChromeOS does not seem to have any audio normalization software and I find myself constantly adjusting the volume during videos. I would rather not have to buy speakers with this feature built-in. I have tried enabling the normalization setting in FFMPEG which seems to be handling the transcoding duty but it doesnt seem to make a difference.
