MBS: Version 3.0.5321.35225 MBT: Version 3.0.5322.21219 (DEV) The DEV version of MBT above is not registering the USER that is logged in with Media Browser Server in ACTIVE DEVICES. MBS reports the Device and MBT Version that is running, but it does not register which user is logged on. This affects RESUME status and WATCHED status for any media you view. The systems sees the user as UNKNOWN, so no status information on media being watched is maintained. If I fall back to the OFFICIAL RELEASE version of MBT (3.0.5306.32477), MBS recognizes the user logged in and all media viewing information is again maintained correctly.

FR: Podcast Plugin: Resume playback from last watched spot
thefirstofthe300 posted a topic in Plugins
I am currently using the Podcast Plugin (LOVE IT @ebr) to watch all of the video podcasts that I subscribe too. There are a number of the podcasts that I listen to that are over an hour and a half long. Sadly, I often don't have time to watch the entire episode in one sitting. When I stop watching the podcast, the plugin simply marks the podcast as watched and moves on to the next episode. However, as I was not finished watching the last podcast, I would like for the plugin to support resume playback functionality in the same way that the server supports it for movies or TV shows. First, is this possible to have implemented, and second, if it is possible, will it be implemented?- 3 replies

In the new player UI the end of the timeline shows the the time I started watching the video, not the time left in the video, like the old player. Is there a way to determine time left in a video in the new player? As far as I can tell, I get the time elapsed on the left, the actual time (i.e. 7:40) of day I started the video, but not an estimated end time (as is shown in some screenshots) or time left in the video. That would be really helpful, as we use that all the time. Another odd thing - I'm watching mostly standard mkv files, but so far none of them saves the spot at which I stop a video. Resume never shows as an option after I stop playing a video, and if I play again after I've stopped, it starts at the very beginning again. Am I missing something? I'm using this on a Windows 7 system, if that makes any difference? Thanks! Eddie

UPDATE Just received an MBS update to Version: 3.0.5289.18702 Just tested MBT and both issues stated below seemed to have been corrected. WELL DONE!!! MBS Version: Version 3.0.5288.30195 MBT Version: 3.0.5287.42414 1. RESUME status is no longer being saved when playing a video in MBT with the latest Server update. 2. Trying to select the PLAYED check icon in MBT throws a THERE WAS AN ERROR PROCESSING THIS REQUEST result. MBT can pick up a RESUME status on a video if it was originally played with another client that still tracks RESUME (MBC, WebUI, Android). But, MBT will not keep any additional RESUME status if you play in MBT and stop the video again. If you watch video to the end in MBT, it will not update the status of the video to PLAYED.

Hi, I've been using XBOX 360 as an extender and now i'm having pause/resume/skip issues. It seems that only transcoded files from server are unable to pause or skip. When I try it I receive an error and have to start from beginning. But when files are "Direct Playing" pause/skip.. works Do you have any solution to my problem? Reg, Arni Thor
