Hey guys - hoping to have the ability to get livetv from my hdhomerun working within emby. I prefer to use the direct streams from the Hdhomerun Prime rather than use a backend as I do not care to record (yet). I will care about recordings once their kickstarter is complete and they have delivered. I did see that there was a login option for Schedules Direct but would prefer to use an external source since I let my SD account expire this week. I use mc2xml for my epg data which creates a xmltv.xml file with all the info. has anyone succeeded in a similar setup? thanks in advance for your thoughts.

A few days ago I noticed that I didn't have any guide data and recordings weren't happening. I clicked on LiveTV -> Schedules Direct and get the following error in a pop-up right away: I clicked "Got it" and the only information filled in was my username. I put in my password and got the same Alert error. I verified that the username and password are correct by logging in with the same credentials into Schedules Direct. LiveTV and guide data with Schedules Direct has been working for many months without any issues. I haven't changed any configuration with LiveTV (or even Emby, for that matter) with the exception of updating the emby-server package when a new version is available. I'm running the emby-server 3.0.5972 on Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS.

I have an issue playing live TV. I can select a channel from <Live TV><channels> video starts to play then it locks a few seconds later, if it starts at all. IThe HDHomeRun picks up the tuner as green, then blinks green. I have no issue playing WMC Live TV through my xbox 360 as an extender. Logs attached as Zip. I'm using a Nexus Player for my home theater streaming. So far, recorded content plays back without issue (at least everything I've played so far) The problem I'm running into is with Live TV. I have an HDHomerun Extend and it's outputting H264 video and AC3 audio. Anything Live TV-wise is wanting to transcode regardless of any setting in the HDHomerun. If I live stream to my Nexus 6 (also on 6.0), it will Direct Play without a need to transcode anything on my local WiFi. It seems if the Nexus 6 can play directly, why can't the Nexus Player? Am I missing a setting somewhere, or does the Nexus Player not support what my Nexus 6 does? This issue was also present for Lollipop on the Nexus Player. If you need logs, I'll gladly send them in. I have a Nvidia Shield with Android TV v5.1 I can connect to Emby Server on the same same and play recorded content, no problem I get the Playback Error Server Inaccessible error when I try Live TV with HDHOMERUN (HDTC-2US) Live TV will run from FireFox on the Android TV, no problem. But NOT from Chrome (go figure) It was working on another Android TV box just fine until a recent update from android 5.0.2 --> 5.1 so I am suspicious that then new Android TV version is blocking the content somehow. Also, live TV works on other non-android devices, no problem. So I "think" my server setup is "good'. See attached .log files server-63570405492.zip

I am looking to be able to get live tv to play on my roku but it doesn't seem as though my server can handle the transcode of the live tv to allow me to be able to play any of the tv channels through my roku. However I nice way around this would be to use SiliconDusts new HDHR4 which has hardware transcoding to h.264 and direct playback on dlna devices. Does MB3 and the Roku front end support direct streaming the Live TV stream if I was to purchase one of these? I would really like live tv to work on my Roku. Thanks,
