Amazon has released the Fire TV. I see that Plex is already listed there. Will the Fire TV be able to control the Mediabrowser app in the Amazon store? I already have, and use, this on my Kindle Fire HDX. This would make the Fire TV a killer box. Will there be a way to keep it from transcoding? So got the firestick for Christmas. Installed Emby. After the entering the pin and getting the confirmed and thank you I Tried to login manually on firestick with emby user id and password and it tells me Invalid user id or password. I've tried selecting the log in with Connect on firestick but it just freezes up the entire screen for a good 3 minutes and does not let me log in. I've uninstalled the app and deleted data and cache several times. Each time I have the same result. I am seeing that I'm on the server because I see the user ids to choose from. I see my user id too and click on it and I still get invalid user id or password. I'm able to log on to the emby website with my user id and password just fine. Any ideas?

Hi, I've installed the Emby App for FireTV Stick and the app itself works really, really great! Unfortunately, as of today the app has stopped working in terms of playback. It says I have to either unlock or become a supporter, although the trial period cannot be over (since I installed the app for the first time a few days ago). As the actual app worked perfectly fine, I was going to perform the in-app purchase anyway, but here's my problem: After I log in the app, I select "unlock" and in the next screen "next". The app is loading shortly and I find myself in the main menu again where I've pressed "unlock" before (no error screens, etc.). Any Ideas? I've tried reinstalling the app and even did a reset of the FireTV Stick, but the issue is still coming up :/ Since everything else is working just fine, I think I can rule out any problems with the link to my amazon account, etc. Any help is appreciated! :-) /edit: I also confirmed that In-App purchases are enabled. /edit2: It seems the reset has at least helped with the trial issue: I can now use the trial version until 22nd of August. Unlocking still doesn't work, though.

Hey Guys, In Emby For Kodi i can setup a password for my samba share to provide direct stream. Is this also possible in emby for Fire TV? For kodi I used following path substitution and it worked just fine: /media -> smb://user:password@@nas.home/videos I know it's not the common one but it worked. Is there a possible workaround for kodi available? Thanks your!

I know that there already is a WMC plugin/addon (http://sharepointsnapple.com/amazonmceaddin/) but it's very unstable and currently I can only get it to work properly one out of my two HTPCs. Is there any chance of a MB3 Plugin/Channel being created to access the Amazon Prime streaming content?
