Hi, I installed the snap for Emby from the Snapcraft store and it did not create Emby user or any of the permissions. Just checking if anyone else had this issue

Hi there! I'm currently evaluating Emby as a photo gallery. In the iOS iPad app, it seems that when I'm looking at a gallery and swipe to the next photo, it's a continuous scroll rather than hard snapping to the next photo. There is a late snap, but it takes a few seconds until the scroll stops. Is this the expected behavior? I've looked in the settings to see if I can enable this and done some searching, but I've come up with nothing. Is there a way to enable a hard snap? Or, if not, I'd like to humbly request this feature be added. I would like to be able to swipe forward or back, with a hard snap to the next photo, without having to stop the continuous scroll so I can view the photo. Thank you!

Emby Server and Emby Theater Now Available as Snap Packages We are proud to announce that Emby Server as well as our Premiere client Emby Theater, are now available as Snap Packages for Linux distributions. This makes installing Emby a snap. What are Snaps? Snaps are a type of secure containerized applications that work on any Linux distribution using systemd. Snaps are multi-platform, dependency-free applications that are easy to install. One of the biggest advantages of snap applications is that they update automatically! Snaps are self-contained applications that run in a sandbox with mediated access to the host system making them secure and quite easy to work with. Material Icons not rendering in Firefox 105.0.3 snap on Ubuntu 22.04.1
roaku posted a topic in General/Windows
I'm experiencing a rendering issue with the Material Icons in Firefox after upgrading to the latest Ubuntu LTS. The issue is consistent across Emby servers running 4.7.8 and latest beta. There are no errors in the browser console log or obvious issues with the font or css files transferring or loading. The icons are rendering fine on Chromium on the same machine. The icons are also rendering fine on the same version of Firefox on Windows. Anyone else experiencing this with the FF 105.03 snap on Ubuntu 22.04.1? -
Known Windows since 3.1 and 386's with floppies. Complete noob to any flavor of Unix/Linux/Mac's. Looking into dumping windows for storage and going with Snap raid, FreeNas or UnRaid for storage. Liking FreeNas for ZFS and RaidZ3, 3 parity drives sounds good to me. Liking Unraid and expanding pools, but only 1 parity drive. Just starting to dig into Snap Raid. How do i get emby to work on these systems ??

Something I have noticed regarding the web interface for mobile: on my Nexus 7, attempting to open a pop up window in the server (such as the advanced refresh window in the metadata manager) results in an "Aw, Snap" error in Chrome for Android. I am attaching a screenshot of the error page. The crash was produced by attempting to open the advanced refresh window. Server v. 3.0.5347 Linux Mono build Sent from my Nexus 7
