OK just to help confirm a theory I have, if you limit the pre-caching so that it's only occurring near the end of the previous song, how does that compare? Specifically I mean under one minute. Thanks.

It depends on the settings, but it can be as soon as a the first one starts playing the next X songs are pre cached (1 by 1). Else it depends on phone memory and buffer sizes but usually 1 min before the end. In those logs I had pre cache enabled so it started to cache asap.

Did you trigger the "repair libraries" option?

I have is the same issue. Deleted the files by context menu. Reinstalling Kodi and embynextgen didn't help either.

Yeah local trailers seems like hard work. I chose the trailers plugin (new and upcoming) hoping it would replicate the cinema experience and peek my interest in new movies. Alas the quality is lacking with most of the trailers and the randomness is also bad. If I'm watching a action movie I want to see other genre's trailer wise (comedy/sci-fi etc.). It just didn't work like cinema intro's/trailers should so I'll give it a miss for now.

And I see this is not limited to Collections, but affects People as well. Unacceptable! Again, a huge strength -- for me -- over Plex was how Emby did not care what library content came from when it came to collecting things onto a page.

I'm trying to come up with a low cost server solution for my mom - for preferable less than $150 USD. She'll only be streaming a sing 1080p stream, and I can make sure the media is optimized so the machine wouldn't need to transcode. A raspberry pi with a usb hard drive would work, but I can't find a nice clean solution. I'd prefer to use a 3.5" hard drive, because I have those laying around but it seems like all the SFF PCs or NUCs use 2.5" or M.2s. Any thoughts/ideas?

On the Emby client on the Nvidia Shield, there is an "All Items" button to show things as they used to be for Collections. This in the web client version would be very welcomed.

Because I've added an episode into this collection, it is completely awful to look at -- with required scrolling -- and does not place the episode in the proper order with the movies:

And, I really hate not having a full screen of collection items. Instead, everything is in a line that needs a click on a > icon to scroll. Terrible. Edit: Emby Collections have been a huge advantage over Plex, due to seamlessly integrating anything from any library. This has now been broken.

With 4.8.4, Collections are suddenly split by media type. I hate this. Is there a way to undo this? I want movies and episodes to be combined in chronological order, as before.
