I've got a very large set of files that user "-other" as opposed to "-extras" to denote random un-marked/evaluated extras with respect to movie extras. Could we get "-other" added as a synonym to "-extras" to https://emby.media/support/articles/Movie-Naming.html#movie-extras just so I don't have to rename things and/or if content is shared across multiple libraries / media servers they all do mostly what you'd expect across the board?

OK. The segment size when playing has not changed. The changes made only apply to the temporary buffer on disk.

Are you inside your local network when testing this?

I'm kind of new to emby, so maybe there is some combination of settings that I don't yet grok. I can look at my Live TV recordings via a couple different pathways in the Android app or the web client. If I go to the upper left menu and select "Recordings", I see the view in the first image. The episodes of a show are grouped under a single thumbnail with a little annotation with the count of unplayed episodes. If I got Live TV and select the "Recordings" tab, I see the view in the second image. Each episode has its own thumbnail. There is no aggregation. If one has a lot of episodes of various shows, that's a pretty poor arrangement. I could probably adapt to this OK except that I'm the complaint department in the household, and I'd quickly get tired of telling people to "do it a different way". Is there a good functional reason for these two things with the same name to have different behavior, or is it just a matter of them being coded differently on different days? Is there a way to get the aggregated view in the Live TV > Recordings pathway?

Thanks @hackthis02!!! I just updated to v3.3.1.0 of the plugin, and I can confirm that all specials in my library are now showing up as "+x sp" whether or not they've been watched. Total number of episodes still seems to include the specials though. For the Babylon 5 example I used before, there are 110 episodes in Seasons 1 through 5 and 8 specials. Shouldn't the collected episode count be "110 / 110 (100%) +8 sp"?

Does the log file not show this? Okay so what needs to be done to resolve the issue? We're going to assume at this point that it does not matter if it's transcoding or direct, going to assume because it does not matter it buffers on both, what needs to be done to resolve the issue? Hi. All you have to do is set the app to remember the last user - which is actually the default...

So all you need to do is NOT assign a Profile PIN and set the app to login as the last user.

Has anyone else experience issues getting your Emby install to utilize your Nvidia GPU for encoding? My Proxmox LCX running Ubuntu 22.04 can see the GPU. I think you are talking about the Next Up row in our home screen. The OP is talking about the "Play Next" row on the device home screen, The setting follows the user on all devices.

Okay, so that explains that. The Roku cannot sort by a method it doesn't understand.

Turned off uPNP and rebooted with no luck. Remote connections is turned on from what I remember. I'll check again later and retest with a client device on another network. Are there any other settings I should look out for and edit?

Turn OFF uPNP - and reboot the router. It might be conflicting. As you are doing it manually, no need for uPNP and it's safer/more secure that way anyway. Config on the router looks reasonable from what I can see - assuming your emby server is on the LAN IP listed. btw - assume you have 'Allow Remote Connections' in emby .. Also remember you may need to test via a 4G/External connection - testing on the same LAN may not work with the router you have.
