Hmm, MBS is not picking up the new Beta. Is is staggered somehow so that we don't all smash the server at the same time?

We do have a stagger period yes, so it could take as much as a day.

cylon, yes it staggers the release so the server doesn't slow to a halt. Give it a day and I'm sure it will show up.

more features/refined features always good news. congrats.  I have a question about the staggered period, if I go to the www.mediabrowser3.com and download it from there is this also staggered as well? or will I always get the latest build that has been released?

Can we have a link to download all genre images and is it possible to modify these images for translating ?

 

Why i ask for this :

 

For example in my french database i've some movies in "Histoire" genre and no movie in "History" genre...so when i've updated MB Server the "History" image genre wasn't dowloaded. I had to add one movie tag with "History" to dowload the image and then for "Histoire" genre i had to upload from MB Server genre folder the "History" image (ouf !)

 

May be we could choose between all genre images whatever the name of genre and pick up the image we need ?

 

I would like to tranlate these images too...is it possible to have the sources ?

Luke, thanks for fixing the Genre parsing so quickly!!

 

Just tried it. and had to delete the Data folder to stop Genre Cleaner from wiping the genres in the movie.xml. After rebuilding the Database and with Genre Cleaner installed, it now no longer wipes the genres from the Movie.xml.

 

I note that on a single movie refresh in the Web client, the Genres in the MP4 Tag are now completely ignored. is this by design?

 

Also, Genre Cleaner no longer shows a button to add a Genre..
