Hope all is going well for you bud.  The theme is perfect but I can't seem to find any documentation on how to setup that brushed steel background in the EHS and config screens I see in your screenshots. Thanks again!

EDIT: thanks but I wouldn't say it's perfect.  lots of little things to tidy up!!

 

It's an MCS (MediaCenter Studio) theme I modified.

I could add a theme Backdrop of it which you can select from the main config under Theme Options and Show Theme Background.

Hahahahah yeah it is a bit. Great catch Red and thanks, glad you like it. Damn i thought i put in the logic to remove that if the RAL was turned off..... finally an easy fix to do!!!

I have been trying to repo this issue and can't.  What versions are you running for MBC and MBS please.

 

So as there have been a couple of requests, I've added the "Concrete" background to the theme as the theme background, however if you can't wait for next update here's how you can add it.

 

 

You need a program called MediaCenter Studio

 

Follow these instructions here on how to install

To install the theme:

 

For those unfamiliar with Media Center Studio simply run the program and select the Themes tab. From that tab select the Import Theme button and select the Concrete MCT file to add it to Media Center Studio’s theme listing. From there select the New theme and press the Apply button. The theme will be applied to Media Center and should appear the next time you launch the program.

I have been trying to repo this issue and can't.  What versions are you running for MBC and MBS please.

I can reproduce the issue Cheese. However, for me it only happens on TV shows, not Movies, or Games or any other category I tested.

I found the bug, In View Options if you enable only EHS then I can open media browser and click new and all new movies show, watched and unwatched, all work, But, If I click movies and then hit the back button and click on new, watched or unwatched it shows "no items found". Is this normal for xenon.

But if I select both EHS and Show favorites folder then I can go back and forth.

 

I has something to do with the Show Favorites folder.

 

I only enable EHS.

I haven't been around much lately,but I sat down to watch a movie tonight and noticed that the video backgrounds are playing but cannot be viewed,

 

This is happening in both Xenon and Subdued,all other themes are working fine.

That's a dev version.  I haven't tested Xenon with any later releases than 207. Or Subdued for that matter.

 

When you say playing but cannot be viewed, do you mean they are playing in the background but when you click on now playing icon, it doesn't go to full screen.

Yes they are playing in the background and there is no now playing icon showing to click on.

 

Chocolate,Square,Rush,Roc,Crystal even the good old ones Pearl,Neo and Diamond working correctly.

Did some troubleshooting and unfortunately it didn't enlighten anything,

 

Reverted back to latest official release of MBC .207 and uninstalled both Xenon and Subdued,then removed all references and folders belonging to both.and reinstalled both from MBC but still the same problem.

 

If you cannot figure it out,it doesn't matter that much as I have not got the time to do to much troubleshooting or watch anything at the moment.

So Where is movies in your Sort Order for the EHS is it the first in the list.

 

How big is you list, have you been patient enough, give it a few seconds and see what happens. it repopulates the quick lists when returning home page.

 

Ok, so I've tried everything to repo this and can't repo it at all.  I have a small library on my dev laptop which has approx 20 - 30 movies in. So this could be it.

(No, it second- right after Favorites if both EHS and Favorites list is checked, Normally it is the only one that shows if EHS is the only one checked----- see post #48 on this topic, it shows how it normally looks with just Movies showing)

(50 movies, I've let it sit for more than 10 minutes and it does not repo)
