heula 189
I'm on Emby server version 4.4.0.40 stable for Shield TV Android and I can keep pressing the delete button but nothing will be deleted. I get a pop up message saying "Delete file from Emby" (translated from Dutch) and when I press yes normally it will be deleted but now it's not. kodi.log Emby for Kodi always up to date with the latest version. Thanks.
TeamB 2349
Are you sure that user has delete access to that library? You are getting an 401 Unauthorized for url: http://{emby-server}/emby/Items/86555 which might mean that user does not have access to delete items in Emby. heula 189
It worked with server version 4.4.0.30 beta and all my settings are unchanged. I have checked them and they have permission to delete from. The delete option from Kodi itself works just fine. This says "Allow deleting media from" all libraries. kodi.log Edited March 28, 2020 by heula
TeamB 2349
Sorry I don't know then. All I can suggest is make sure you are using the correct user in your Kodi setup. Apart from that the server is giving a 401 unauthorised return code so it is the server log that might have more info.
heula 189
Maybe the server log will help? embyserver.txt
Luke 36881
Are you sure that's the user logged in with emby for kodi?
heula 189
Yes I'm sure that Emby for Kodi was running according to the welcome message.
heula 189
It seems to be working again after a Emby database reset in Kodi. Weird.
