Well, I bought a DS1019+ on Jan and installed Emby. It worked very well but suddenly I found it begun to skip one certain directory, new movies would not show up anymore. I tried to reinstalled it and found the same. Check emby permissions and all kept same as before. Server log attached. Pls let me know what is wrong with it. Thank you.

Hi there, how did you check the permissions?

Sure I did, the permissions remain unchanged for a long time. Anyway, I was a programmer ten years ago =D

what kind of files are underneath that library? What is the folder structure like? what content type did you setup the library with?

Happy2Play

All external connections are failing, but that should not affect the ability to still display all unidentified media.

Are by chance using IPv6?  If so there are several topic saying it works when disabling IPv6.

mainly .mp4 files, I use Emby to organize adult videoes, it worked well. I setup 3 libraries, one for family movies, one for western moives, one for JAV. The problem is the JAV library doesn't scan now. I don't know if it is becase the file directory name.

the file tree is attached below. Pls check, thank you. Sorry it is a bit large........

That's not about an emby setting, that's related to their file mounting. You may want to ask them in that topic.

I tried to creat another directory and move those movies from old one to new one, then make a new library to the new directory now the scan is working.  I think there must be something wrong with permissions of old directory. Anyway it is solved now although I don't find out the exactly reason.

well, same thing came out again. First I tried to move some movies to the new directory and the scan worked well. After I moved the other movies to the new library, the scan stopped again. So I attached the log if you guys want to find out the truth.

Just for testing purposes can you try removing the library and then adding it back using the mixed content type?

I tried but this doesn't work. It seems one or some directories' names r stopping the scanning. will try to find out this weekend.

The interesting thing is Video Station works very well and scan every new clip at once.
