Anything I can do to help narrow it down? I travel each week and it sucks losing access to my downloaded library anytime I'm offline and forgot to open Emby in advance (or it crashes on rare occasion).

Hey,

I don't want my Emby server running all the time, so I synched my music to my laptop to listen to it when I'm not at home.
But when I launch the application and I don't have access to the server (because it's stopped or I don't have an internet connection), it shows me the "Select Server" screen, the image below, "URClement" is my server name. This is with the default theme.
So I click on "Downloads" but the application instantly closes for no reason and without any error message.

However, once I've accessed the server, I can open the "Downloads" screen and listen to my music. Even if after that, I don't have access to the server anymore.
In this case, I can access it through the main page on the line that displays the downloads content or through "Settings > Select server" which displays the same screen as when I launch the application without access to the server but with the theme I set for Emby.

I also have this bug on my desktop PC. Both are on Windows 10 Pro version 2004 and Emby Theater version 1.1.314.0 installed from the Microsoft Store. Emby server is on version 4.4.3.0 but I don't think this is because of the server
I tried to reinstall the application and nothing changed.

Is this a known bug ? I didn't find a topic about it...

Hope this will be corrected soon. @Mew42

I am not english native, so sorry if I made some obvious error in the text.

Hey there, any solution to this yet? I was going to open a thread but found this one.

I just popped ET on a new device from Microsoft Store, thought I would download a few episodes for the road and am experiencing this crash to desktop once the device is in airplane mode/offline. I select the downloads just as a I would on my Android devices but like I said it crashed out. I was able to see the download path the UWP app is using over in <user>\AppData\ so I can just open the MKV files directly so that's good.

I noticed ET isn't listed for offline access in the knowledge base?

Also one more question kind of related, in the settings under "Emby for Windows" there's a "Downloads" menu... is that area music related? There's a spot to set a download location and a music download quality drop down but kind of a vague menu heading. Thanks.
