Hello

I'm using the app for Roku right now, have not tried my Apple TV yet so this is all relevant to Roku only.  The features that are needed are as follows:

Favorite a channel in the guide

direct tune to a channel

if you move too fast through the guide it freezes and you have to back out of the app entirely, there needs to be a 'refresh'

More sorting options, sometimes i want to sort by name of program since i know what i'm looking for just don't know the channel, likewise need more sorting options overall

Please let me know if i just simply overlooked a feature and posted it above. Thanks.

Hi.  You can mark a channel as a favorite by going to the "Channels" view and bringing it up from there.

Can you explain exactly what you mean by that?

Please create a new post in the Roku forum with details for this issue and we'll chase it down.

In the guide?  I'm not really sure how we would sort the guide by program name...

You can use the search function to find a program if you know the name however.

Thanks.

we need more done in the guide, also why doesn't it loop back to the top of the guide when i reach my last channel?  Its tedious having to backtrack all the way to the beginning page by page.

We simply haven't gotten there yet, but we will.

A android TV app I use called TiviMate handles this very nicely.  You can press down and it will go as fast as it can as you would expect.  When it gets to the last channel it stops, then if you press down again, it goes to the first channel.  Doing this going up does the same thing.  It saves you from blasting past the end and back up to the top of the guide again on very fast devices like the shield.

We cannot do that with our design because you have to be able to escape the guide moving up (to get to other elements).  So we just have the back key take you to the top.
