Since the latest Android update I have been unable to log into the homepage on my Samsung S10 Android phone. It worked perfectly up til than but now it just spins. All other devices work just fine.

Hi Luke Thanks for reaching out
It spins on the home page but does not load fully

The only thing that loads is the My Media (sm) that I have at the bottom of the page . The My Media,  Continue Watching, Next up and Latest media never load and I just see the spinning circle that I use to see for a second or two prior to the page loading before the update

I should mention I tried to un-install and re-install the APP

Hi, where does it spin?

Also got a spinning circle on the Homescreen after the last update, when i enter the Movies or TV-Shows it all works as expected i think it has something to do with it loading the 'Continue Watching', 'Now Showing' and the 'Live TV' content (sorry i don't know what the exact description in english says since i'm using another language).

Also can the TVHeadend plugin be the issue?

I'm running the server behind a reverse proxy with nginx.

In the old app it works everything correctly.

Should i try also the version that you've posted if yes where can i post the log, since i don't want to share my domain name publicly.

EDIT: I noticed that you recommend ES File Explorer but is no longer available and removed from the play store.

Yes that would be great, thanks. You can PM the log file to me. Any file explorer will do. ES File Explorer was just one example. Thanks.

If the app would create a logfile in the directory '/Android/data/com.mb.android/files/logs' i will send it to you but the app doesn't created a file or folder called 'logs' under '/Android/data/com.mb.android/files' it only creates this directory.

Also tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it (deleted the folder '/Android/data/com.mb.android' in between to see what it creates and what not).

Do i have to activate some setting in the app?

Try downloading the apk again.  you may have gotten a version without the logging enabled. thanks.

You're right, PM already sent. ;)

Hi. Just to apport my "two cents". I'm experiencing the same problem after the Android app update on two devices: Samsung Galaxy Note10+ and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (WiFi model).

I tried the typical troubleshoot procedure of clearing the cache > clear data > uninstall-&-reinstall with no luck. The problem persist.

I have Emby Premiere and the problem is present either connected directly to my LAN or by WAN with my smartphone data connection.

Should I try the apk referenced here and send log file too?

Thanks for any help.

This solved it!

In my case i had also the 'My Media' 2 times in the homescreen.

Try the follwoing:

Open the app and log into your server, now you should get the spinning circle, go to 'More' - 'Home' and check if there is a entry two times (in my case 'My Media' was on the first position and on the sixth position), if something is two times change the 2nd to 'None' go back to the 'Home' screen close the app completely and reopen it.

That solves it for me! ;)

Ah - so it only happens with my media listed twice?

Looks like that's the problem yes.

I set the second entry to 'None' and now it all works just fine.

Nope.. I took My Media out and it went away completely. I put it in and I get intermittent issues. Something is amiss. How to send a log from Emby Mobile? User TVTime if you get them automatically.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the app completely and then try the steps?

It's described in one of the first few posts how to send the log just follow the links Luke posted.

I'm running the Android Auto Alpha app, just installed this morning but I will submit apps, not only for this but for some of the last few things to hammer out in the alpha app before it can go beta or release..

I also installed the last version you included here. That did not resolve the problem however when i removed the second incident of my media it now loads as previous to the update that caused the problem
