Yes, the green play icon does look nice, but the Emby logo (as it is now) should be considered as an important distinctive brand asset and should not be significantly changed unless there is a whole underlying new brand strategy and justification to support it. I really like seeing the clever graphics that are put forward from time-to-time by talented designers, but diluting a brand by being inconsistent with the logo is not something to mess with lightly. Of course the big exception to this rule is Google. Having said all this, it is however feasible to use minor logo color variations for different backgrounds and specific use-cases. I expect that Emby would already have documented branding guidelines for this in place. (Sometimes companies post the basic guidelines on their website, but not the underlying strategy, when their logo is likely to be widely used by other parties.) 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
