Skyobliwind 4
For me that doesn't seem to be the Problem, but I reasearched a little, installed a second instance of the plugin, also installed a freebsd jail and setup the newest beta in it. When installing the beta I noticed the downloadlink "https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.4.0.30/emby-server-freebsd11_4.4.0.30_amd64.txz" and when revieweing my errorlog I see -updatepackage emby-server-freebsd_{version}_amd64.txz at the end of the update command The small but BIG difference I noticed is the missing of the freebsd version in that Link if I manually try to resolve https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.2.1.0/emby-server-freebsd_4.2.1.0_amd64.txz in my Browser I also get Error 404 but if I add the FreeBSD Version 11 in the Link to https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.2.1.0/emby-server-freebsd11_4.2.1.0_amd64.txz it resolves perfectly good. Is it possible that you forgot to change the Update Link when you included FreeBSD12 support? I am rly sure changing this would fix the Problem for me. (But I think for security reasons I can't change the Updatelink myself ?) Regards

Back during Emby Server 4.2 development was only had one freebsd package. Then during 4.3 we split it into two packages, one for each freebsd version. Does this answer your question? Skyobliwind 4
Kind of. It confirms my guess, but how do I fix this? I have the newest available FreeNas plugin installed (4.2.10). Can I somehow manually change the link on which the server tries to search for updates? Or will the 4.3.10 Version release as FreeNAS Plugin in near future with the fix? I just want to stop the "Search for Plugin Updates failed" and "Search for Server Updates failed" messages ^^

Luke 37060
Generally this is caused by something blocking Emby Server from sending the requests, such as a firewall, security software, or VPN. Can you look into this?
Skyobliwind 4
Nah, we turn around I think ^^ I already looked Up everything for quite some time now. Everything works BUT the Update link inside the automatically created Freenas Plugin Jail seems to bee broken. Just try to manually type in your Browser --github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.2.1.0/emby-server-freebsd_4.2.1.0_amd64.txz-- (THAT is the Link my emby plugin looks for updates) and you will get Error 404 The actually WORKING link is --github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.2.1.0/emby-server-freebsd11_4.2.1.0_amd64.txz-- The link that my plugin uses misses the 11 in it so it can't find anything there, because you seem to have changed the link AFTER the plugin was released and it still uses the old Link. Skyobliwind 4
Do you Plan to release the 4.3.10 or directly go on 4.4 for the FreeNas Plugin?
Luke 37060
We don't actually release the FreeNAS plugin ourselves. We submit to FreeBSD ports, and FreeNAS picks it up from there.
Skyobliwind 4
So there is no way for me to fix the Link somewhere in the Update config? Any File on the System or something? In the Log I can see the command that is run, but not from where it is triggered.
Luke 37060
There is no automatic update for FreeBSD. The only thing that does is notify you when an update is available, so that notification is all you're missing out on. Well that and plugin updates. makarai 108
@@Skyobliwind did you upgrade toi 11.3 version of freenas ? If so, you can choose the community plugin repository and install 4.3.1.0 of emby.
MRobi 159
If you're decently fluent with FreeNAS you could also manually install 4.3.1.0 from shell using the beta instructions with the 4.3.1.0 package
