jkng 0
Hi there, please attach the complete emby server log. Thanks. Is this the correct log? log.txt
Luke 36879
Hi, no, it doesn't contain the activity from your first post. Having said that, I think this is something you'll need to look into. Notice the error in your snippet: Error: NameResolutionFailure That means emby server can't reach our admin domain, https://mb3admin.com. Most likely you have something blocking the connection. Can you look into that?
makarai 108
most likely dns problem, as it happens quite often go into the jail specific jshell and try ( jails -> emby_server -> 3 dots -> shell) nslookup google.com then try it from the freenas jail as well. and report back:) Edited November 8, 2019 by makarai
jkng 0
Hi. I manage to nslookup Google in my freenas console but not within my Emby jail. Sorry for the noob question but any reason why this is happening?
makarai 108
not proper jail networking is the reason. So now that you know whats wrong you need to fix it I am guessing when you installed the jail it was setup in DHCP mode and you gave it a static address and then forgot to put in a dns server or so
