sundevil67 21
Even though I've set it to 7 days, then I tried 5...but I can't seem to get more than 1 day's worth of guide data. I've tried using my IPTV provider's XML TV URL, same as a local file. I think I've tried a combination of the XML file & the Emby guide..but I can't recall. I'm about to try that again. If I have more than one source, how does it determine the priorities? Will it choose one or the other, or try to merge the data? Otherwise, anyone else experiencing the same issue? Luke 36888
Hi there, have you checked your xml data to see that it actually contains data for more than one day?
sundevil67 21
I honestly didn't know that was something specified in the XML file; I thought it was only in the DVR settings within Emby! Though I just took a closer look, and while many of the channels look like the example below, with a start & stop time: <programme start="20191012050000 -0400" stop="20191012053000 -0400" channel="BoxNation.uk"> <title>Boxing World</title> <desc> A weekly series designed to showcase the best of our sport, Boxing World features news, highlights, previews and profiles from the world of pro boxing </desc> </programme> Otherwise, the entry looks like: <channel id="MATCH6.MLB"> <display-name>MLB 06 HD</display-name> <icon src="image path here"/> </channel> I don't see anything that looks like it sets the number of days to load for the schedule though. Luke 36888
What I mean is, you can tell Emby to fetch as many days of guide data as you want, but the data has to be present in the xml in the first place. Where did you get the xml file? You would need to ask whoever created the xml file to put more days of data into it.
ebr 14863
Most IPTV providers only provide a day or so of data. No matter how much Emby requests, we can only get what they provide.
