Another one, I currently use the paid plugins which work adequately however in comparison to plex the range of content is lacking, native support within emby would be a huge improvement and it leaves me wondering like there is grace note epg is there a similar sort of database for theme tunes?

native theme tunes would be even better with a bit more tlc around the start/stop/restart logic for a theme during browsing. the current logic is jarring and not ergonomic imo.

current experience

enter show root - theme starts - good

enter season 1 - theme continues - great

return to show root - theme stops - not good. (them should continue)

enter season 2 - theme starts - odd, should still be playing.

imo the logic should be

enter show or show content at any point (eg. from all shows to show root or from next up to episode) - theme starts [fade in]

move around show eg to root eg to next episode to another season - theme continues and plays once

if the show is left [fade out] and reset

[prevent that theme playing again until some timer/event has passed to avoid spamming]

I would report that in the section of the community for the app you're testing with because that's not intended.

i perhaps was a bit harsh...controller driven clients with a back button behave ok (when you go back to root). mouse driven clients which allow you to click on show root rather than click back , behave poorly. eg webclient and android.
