Guest asrequested
Oh well, that's different. That sounds like a fire wall issue. Check this. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Connectivity#open-tcp-port-8096-on-your-servers-firewall

Guest asrequested
That means your local connection is good. It looks like you're using your phone to test. In the app, if you put in the server IP, can you connect?

Happy2Play 8281
Are using Connect or a direct connection? Sounds like Connect if you are seeing old servers. You should have a option to delete them.
Guest asrequested
Ah, you should have posted in the shield section. But as you're here... What do you mena the old stuff? Everythign was unstalled from the computer and the devices. I meant remnants of the original installation. It sounds like it's remembering what came before, and is trying to use the same server, but you've reinstalled and it can't. Localhost works, which means it's running. Did you try this? In the app, if you put in the server IP, can you connect?
los347 1
ok so here is where I am at. I created a new user since the last one was the same as when I used the old server a few months ago. This solved the issue for local machines. Happy for that! Here is whats happening on any device outside the network. 1. It now shows both the old server and the new server when you open the app. (Not sure how to delte the old) 2. Clicking on the correct server gives anerror " We're unable to connect to the selected server right now .....
