Screen goes to BLACK when adjusting brightness (Web App/Mobile)

Hello,

I start playing content then hit the fill screen [ ] button.

After that I slide my finger up/down on the left side of the screen to adjust the brightness and the screen goes to BLACK. Audio continues playing. I have to hit the [ ] fill screen button to get out of full screen mode and the video comes back, then hit [ ] again to fill the screen.

This is happening on Chrome using the Web player on my Pixel 2 XL.

Thanks, I can reproduce.

Checking on if a fix is being worked on. This is still a problem for me. Thanks

We'll just remove it from the web app as it's not really a true brightness control anyway. Thanks.

Would be nice if it worked (like VLC) but removing it is better than having it and being broken, in my opinion.

Web apps don't have the ability to set screen brightness anyway, so it's not even really possible. We were just faking it with a css filter on the video element. I don't think it's worth keeping. The android app does it properly.
