Anyone else have audio sync issues?

I have a Fire Medallion that I've been using for travel for a while.  It's great being able to plug it into the TV at the hotel and watch my stuff from my hotel.

The past week and a half I have noticed that the audio starts slightly out of sync and the sync gets worse as the show progresses.  If I pause it, or even exit the show, start a new show and then go back it remains out of sync with the sync as bad as when I paused/stopped the video.

I have it connected via LAN cable (using an Amazon Lan/Power dongle).  Anyone else having issues?

I actually experienced the same symptoms this week when connected to an RV park wifi. The programs would start playing with no problems and then it seemed as though the audio would go out of sync... maybe it's just me, but it seemed like it would happen during commercials. I would exit back to the guide and select the program again and it would be fine until the next commercial break.

I was using a fireTV Pendant over wifi.

No, I did not do any seeking.

It seems OK on the web app (connected using the same wifi).

Is the web app playing it the exact same way?  You have an ffmpeg log from that to compare?

Everything is working fine at the house.  I'll have to wait until I'm back at the hotel next week to try again.

The web app played it fine.  Do you still want a log?

Ok, I'm back at the hotel, and I've been watching a bunch of stuff tonight.  I paused one of the shows for a while and when I came it drifted out of sync.  The next show I watched started out of sync.

I checked my decoder settings and there was nothing listed under the hardware decoders, or encoders.

I restarted the server and they came back, but nothing was checked.  I moved DXVA2 to the top and made sure it was the only one checked in each area.

I reconnected and played the video and it's still out of sync.

I even did a Force Stop on Emby and tried again, and it is still out of sync.

Kind of at a loss here.

Here are a bunch of logs to work with.

Did you play with the web app too to compare behavior?

Yes, I have mentioned several times that I have had no issues with the web app.  I also have no issues with Emby Theater.

Last night my wife was watching something on our network, and the audio was slightly off.  Barely noticable, but it is present on the local network too.  She was using a Fire Cube to watch stuff.

Right but then I asked you to get me an ffmpeg log from the web app to compare to the same playback on this app.  That is what I'm after...

Thanks.

Ok, so here's one for you.  I was watching it on the app on my phone and it just stopped completely.

I came back to my hotel to watch it on the Amazon Fire and the audio is messed up.

When I play it via the webapp, it plays fine.

You may need to dig for the earlier one, but it's the same file in all the issues I had.

I hope these are all the files you need:

Hi.  I need to know which log goes with which playback and what exactly happened during that playback.  The best thing to do is reproduce a single problem or scenario and then provide just the log from that scenario.

Thanks.
