Luke,

I had been waiting for 4.6 to release, but as I had some time today, I installed 4.6.0.38 Beta.  The issue has been corrected on my most current Blu-Ray players' DLNA client.  It now lists the wma tracks as wma files, rather than mp3 and transcoding them.  I also have a smart Pioneer TV and it works correctly on it, also.

However, the Sony receivers still function the same.  They'll list and play mp3 tracks, but they do not list or play wma tracks.   I haven't had the opportunity to check the Sony smart TV as of yet.  Both the Sony receivers and TV specifications indicate they support wma.

If the "fix" was in the DLNA profile, I'm going to speculate the Sony receivers are utilizing a different profile than the Blu-Ray players.   So, perhaps, the "fix" needs to be applied to the remaining profiles?

Server log? I don't have a sony receiver for testing. I do have a 2014 sony bravia and they show up there.

Which log file, specifically, and typical path?   Do I have to enable logging somewhere?  Its been awhile and I'm rusty...and old.

Looks like the Sony receiver does not support the features we use to auto-detect supported formats, therefore you'd have to design a dlna profile in order to inform Emby Server of what it supports.

Right now the dlna profile editing is a more advanced part of the server, but @cayars will be working on writing a guide for it. Thanks.
