troyhough 57 Posted December 5, 2018 Share Posted December 5, 2018 (edited) It would be sweet to see some sort of buffer, in seconds or bar graph for example, when tapping the screen. For instance, you're watching a movie or Live TV, you can tap the screen and it would show a graph or a number saying like 15 seconds or 40 seconds currently buffered. I think it would be handy and cool to have this. Edit: I would like to see this on Android mobile and Android TV. troyhough 57 Posted December 8, 2018 Author Share Posted December 8, 2018 For example, while playback is in progress, tapping the clock on the right switches between total duration of the media, seconds currently buffered, etc. It could be dynamic so it would change instantly between 7 sec, 10 sec, 20 sec, 42 sec, etc. When I first installed Emby a few weeks ago and was using it on my Android phone it showed the buffer time in seconds on the right. Not sure how or why but it doesn't anymore. Not sure if it was when I bought the premiere license or if it stopped before that... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So the capability is there already! Can we please make it so when you click the time on the right, it toggles between showing the ending time (like it is now) and buffer time!??!?!?!??!? Edit: I disabled my schedulesdirect to test and sure enough, voila, the buffer time is back! It's the end time of the current stream segment which just means it will fetch another segment and add that to the current end time.
