MardukNT 0
Hello James,Thank you for teaching me the SSH command of cat /var/packages/EmbyServer/conf/spkid.Armed with this knowledge, I can now verify for myself that I'm running on the proper/most recent build of Emby."EmbyServer_4.0.3.0-1_xpen-haswell" --Cheers MardukNT Edited March 20, 2019 by MardukNT
MardukNT 0
Alright folks, after doing some further research, I've recently rebuilt my Lenovo M700 Tiny again. So now it's running on Jun's loader 1.04b emulating a DS918+ See here for reasons: https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/12952-dsm-62-loader/page/8/?tab=comments#comment-94177 And here for files: https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/7848-links-to-loaders/ Now, I was able to migrate DSM v6.2.1 in-place, but unfortunately Emby Server broke (as in it fails to run). So I reinstalled again and so far no issues with Emby to report. In fact, Emby now feels more responsive overall in this new configuration and the CPU load in general appears to be less than before. Sorry I didn't' benchmark before rebuilding. Where I'm noticing the biggest change is, the CPU load when creating Roku thumbnails went from a whopping 94% average load, down to a reasonable 86% average load rating. So that suggests to me, additional CPU optimizations are being leveraged (likely due to better CPU/GPU support the newer DSM kernel provides) when I'm running under Jun's DS918+ image and the latest Emby Server Haswell package. Hope this helps. --Cheers! MardukNT Edited March 23, 2019 by MardukNT
