roberthleeii 58 Posted August 28, 2018 Share Posted August 28, 2018 I have made the transition to using emby as my primary and only TV ecosystem in my house. I have a rokus at each of my TVs and the thumbnail plugin is a great addition. The only problem is that some of my generated thumbnails don't complete and I only get thumbnails for part of the recording. I could survive with out the thumbnails for the rest of the recording but it does not let you fast forward past the end of the thumbnails. When you try to ff or rw it always goes back to the end of the thumbnails even if you were an hours past that point. If I go delete the .bif file and make the plugin run again it will generate a complete file. Is there any thing I can do to fix this issue? I'm my case I just have the plugin scheduled to run during times that I don't record shows. Also, don't manually run the plugin while a recording is in progress. See if that fixes it for you. I looked at the timing of the recordings and when the scheduled taks is running and that may be my issue. I have deleted the scheduled task and changed it to create the thumbnails when it discovers new media. Now that I have made Emby my primary and only TV watching source in our house this is one of the few problems I am having.
