el_pedriyo 0
Hello, I think I am having some time of bug or problem for playing some of my films in my chrome browser, seems that they are working fine in internet explorer. Ataching some photos of the bug. So first it seems like the player graphic design is not loading 100%, it is loading another extrange theme, even 2 different ones and the film is not being played neither. Can you please help me? Kind regards
Luke 37046
Hi, what exactly is the problem? Just the background image?
el_pedriyo 0
Hello, No problem is that somehow the movie doesn't play, and I normally have this design when playing a film through the browser. So I do not know why I can not play movies on google chrome. Any idea?

el_pedriyo 0
Hello, I have attached the server logs, it doesn't matter how many times I click the play button, it just simple does not play the film. I also have another problem, seems like when trying to play 4k films in a PC with internet explorer (which was the only one working) it had to transcode the film, of course, ending in a 100% cpu usage of my 8/16 core processor, it seems that I can not direct play the 4k film when I change the settings to 120mbps. Any help on that also? Kind regards, Pedro embyserver.txt ffmpeg log.txt
el_pedriyo 0
It seems that when a film is already started and I resume it where it was, chrome plays it, but if it is from the beginning seems not to

el_pedriyo 0
Hello @@Luke, Do we have an estimated time for this to be resolved? As I see on the newer versions of emby: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases that this was still not fixed. Kind regards
Luke 37046
So far I have not been able to reproduce the problem but am continuing to test for it. Thanks
el_pedriyo 0
Hello Luke, It seems it is only happening with heavy movies, more than 20G movie. With series episodes is working fine. Kind regards
Happy2Play 8271
Hello Luke, It seems it is only happening with heavy movies, more than 20G movie. With series episodes is working fine. Kind regards What bitrate are the episodes? Does the same happen to movies if you lower the bitrate to the same?
el_pedriyo 0
Hello, This is the caracteristics of the movie: ç I can not change the bitrate/quality of the movie until the movie starts to play, and thats the problem, that it is not being played at any particular moment. Sometimes once I try several times it plays correctly, but then I refresh and try again and nothing. You could thing about my connection with the server, but I am with 1gbps connection to the server and other browsers plays it correclty, so something else might be happening. Kind regards
Luke 37046
You can actually, by going into web app settings and setting the playback quality.
el_pedriyo 0
I have tried and it seems that on the first 2 movies that were in the middle of the movie worked, but normally in the middle of movies also in high quality also works. But then I tried on the beginning of 1 film and didn't work. So the issue seems to continue there
Luke 37046
What does "didn't work" mean?
el_pedriyo 0
Seems I found out what was going on, I mean, seems like there is "no problem" with the playback. The movie after 30 seconds starts to play, when it was on 720, until the transcoding was like 10 min done the movie didn't start to play. On the other hand when I play it on original quality, I saw on the server monitor that the movie was direct streaming, so only audio was being transconded. Let me do some more testing with another browser
el_pedriyo 0
On firefox the movie starts playing but the controls are blocked and can not pause the movie until 3 min after more or less. And on chrome I was having the issue I told you, which was that the movie just does not simply starts after 3 min of transcoding the audio for example. Luke 37046
Are you sure about that in firefox? in my testing i can pause videos immediately.
el_pedriyo 0
Yes, I am totally sure xD I think it has something to do with my CPU delaying while transcoding audio or video, don't know why
el_pedriyo 0
There you have the last firefox version running the film for 1 min but with that loading icon in the middle of the screen without the control panel appearing. The only browser that for me only starts quickly is the internet explorer. This movie was 26G
Luke 37046
What version of firefox are you on? tonight i tested on two different machines, one firefox 59, the other firefox 63. Both had no problems playing video and started up very fast.
el_pedriyo 0
Hello, My firefox version is 62.0 64bits. You tried, but with a 30G movie? Also my cpu power is 4c/4T but I imagine that shouldn't be a problem as internet explorer is just running quite fine. Kind regards
el_pedriyo 0
Also it seemed like at the back of that film in the corners there was a photo of another movie, don't know either why is that happening
