frandan 0
Good morning, first of all best compliments for your fantastic software. I had a hard disk failure. In this disk i had part of my movies collection that i had previously backuped on another disk. There is a way to recover the movies list that was recognized by emby? So i could rebuild my movie library at the same state before disk failure. At this moment Emby runs correctly on another disk and it never stopped working I tried with local.db but i couldn't find the complete movies list Thanks in advance
Luke 36887
If you have a copy of the library.db file, and if you're handy with sqlite, then you could extract the data from that.

Thank you for your answer. Yes i have my library.db and i have already tried to retrive the movies list with db browser without success. I 'll take a deeper look. Do you have any suggestion on the tables to examine? Edited June 26, 2018 by frandan
PenkethBoy 2063
To start you off look at the "typebaseditems" table on the Browse Date tab and filter on "movies.movie" for the type field to extract the data to a list you will need to use SQL

Typebaseditems is the table that i have already checked but there i didn't found the full movie list but only a part of. I ordered the table by path but the result was only partial Thanks a lot the same
Amilii 0
Hi, how about applying a 3rd party tool to retrieve your lost movies? I am not sure whether it can help, but I think you can try the Bitwar Data Recovery software. I have used this tool for several times to recover my deleted files, so I think you can also have a try. Hope can help you anyway.
