Nvidia Shield - LiveTV Guide

I just started playing with Emby so maybe I'm overlooking this setting but is there a way of changing the guide size with the Android TV client?   It's coming up as 5 rows and an 1.5 hrs wide on a 1920x1080i TV.

On the server side, it comes up as 15 rows and 2.5 hrs wide on a 1920x1200 monitor on the server and 18 rows on a 2560x1440 monitor on the server.   Tivo uses 8 rows and 2 hrs wide which I think is the bare minimum.

Please tell me that this is configurable on the Android TV client.  I'm using Shield Client 1.5.32.g and Server 3.2.70.  5 rows seems more applicable for a tablet and not a TV.

Nvidia Shield (original) is on Shield Experience 6.3.  I've got multiple devices and the behavior is the same.   1920x1080 = 5 rows

TV's tried - Toshiba Regza 55SV670U and Samsung UN32J5003.

Hi.  We had multiple users give us feedback to make the text and guide information larger so that is what we end up with.  On a desktop, where you are inches from the screen, you can cram a lot more information in than a TV that is 10+ feet across the room.

It is possible there will be options in the future to adjust this.

But if that TV is 65", give or take, the guide starts to be out of proportion.

Using epg123 and MyChannelLogosXL prior to that, the grid is scaleable in WMC by doing register tweaks but I'm sure this can be built into Emby without having to do register tweaks.

It has to be adjustable.  The goal of a guide should be to portray as much information as possible.  As it is now, it looks like the goal was to magnify the channel icons to a point that they were the center of attention.   One of the things I used to like about WMC was that I had a larger and more responsive guide than Tivo.   This goes in the opposite direction.   SageTV is an example of what could be done to make things customizable.

I noticed this as well, I have a 75 inch TV and the live guide has a super small amount of rows considering the amount of real estate available, same issue on a 65 inch TV.

I am sitting about 10 feet away on the 75 and the guide looks gigantic.

Take a look how the guide looks on Kodi PVR plugins like NextPVR, its very readable but has many more rows and columns.

I can post a screenshot when I get home as to how the guide looks on a 75 inch screen.
