Emby Theater: Ratings Box Display Issue

To report a minor display issue. In Emby Theater (view set to Auto/TV), when the rating description is too long to fit onto a single line, the box around it gets out of alignment. Ie it doesn't adjust for the new line of text. See screenshot attached.

It seems to display fine via the web interface, but not at the larger text scale of the TV view.

Thank you,

AD

The issue is that rating is not provided by Emby.

Can't seem to find the other topic on this right now.

I think this is sourced from IMDB originally with Australian localisation.

Where does Emby source its ratings from?

Is Emby your only metadata provider?  If Emby is your only provider then that is extremely old metadata that is no longer gathered in that format.

No it isn't, which was why I was wondering where it is being sourced from. Perhaps I can refresh and align so it will match up with the interface if its not considered a glitch that will be fixed.

Are you reading xml metadata?  Is this from Media Center Master?

Yes a Refresh in Emby should update this information.  There are caviots is this is xml metadata.

I have the Emby XML plugin install, but only to use people.xml files. Rest of library is in nfo format.

Originally this would have been created through Metabrowser (so I can choose the scraper for each field) to update or align.

Thanks

I would look at your nfo and see the exact node this rating description is coming from then, and list here and @@Luke will have to give further guidance.

But does Refreshing one Movie with this issue (in Emby) and performing a library scan correct the issue?

The node is: <mpaa>Rated M for extended sequences of intense fantasy action violence, and frightening images</mpaa>

Doing a replace all metadata updates this to only AU-M. No description as such. Is that the way it works?

Edit: Looks like the <mpaadescription> is missing in this nfo file. Checking some others this is present but not this one. Looks like I might need to refresh this and get it aligned.

Thanks for your help Happy2Play!

If anyone else comes across this issue that uses Metabrowser for scraping their meta data, check under the savers for XMBC, under movies tab there is an option to 'save MPAA description into the MPAA rating field'. This was ticked on mine which was causing the description to be saved instead of the rating. Quick Process All after unticking has resolve this issue for me.
