spriggig 9 Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Hello, I just installed MBC over the weekend and it seems to work OK, so I thought I'd try MBT. The only significant problem I've had is that my Harmony 640 remote, which is setup to work with MBC does not work in MBT. I have a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1850 (Model 85xxx, Combo ATSC/QAM, 888 DIF) and I'm using the IR receiver and driver that came with that. When I install MBT, the remote stops working in both MBC and MBT, if I "Restart IR" (a Hauppauge utility) the remote then works in MBC, but still not in MBT. This is true even if I run both MBC and MBT at the same time, switching between them, the remote works in MBC but not in MBT. Any ideas? I've attached my most recent MBT log, if that will help. wraslor 70 Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 What do you have your remote setup for in the harmony config? I know I had to set mine to windows media center SE. spriggig 9 Posted March 11, 2014 Author Share Posted March 11, 2014 It's configured to run a WMC PC, my Toshiba TV and my 5.1 receiver, nothing special as far as that goes, but I haven't looked at it in detail since I set it up. For whatever reason I had this thing installed and running at start up: IR Remote control applicationIR Remote control version 28015 Remote control applet for use with WinTV 7. After you run this applet, an icon will appear in your Windows device tray showing that the Hauppauge remote control is active.
