feerlessleadr 154
Just FYI - I had .60 installed on 4 machines (3 LE 1 Android) in my home and I had no problems on any of them, but my buddy had 2 systems (1 LE 1 Android) on .60 that had the complete video playback failure. So it makes sense that not everyone was affected.
Grumpy1 44
Hi I still only have 2.3.60 on LE and am having the playback issues( just updated yesterday and everything was fine before that), can't see 2.3.61 at all Also run a windows machine and it found 2.3.61 no problem Running kodi 17.5 on Windows and 17.3 on LE if that makes a difference. Angelblue05 4130
@@Grumpy1 Can you confirm what you are doing? I've suggested twice what to do and you have not said if you tried those steps. It's there. When you are on the install from zip, from repo, etc window, open the side menu > check for updates. That will force to look for updates. Do you have the Emby repository installed? If it fails then you can grab the version following this here, once you add the source you'll see the public testing folder which contains the latest version: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/plugin.video.emby/wiki/Emby-Repository Edited December 19, 2017 by Angelblue05
James W 7
I have a remote client that still cannot play on 2.3.61. Just get playback failed error. Kodi is v 15.1 I am trying to get logs from the device but I have to wait for the user. Edited December 19, 2017 by James W

I see you got this fixed, but for future reference, I'm pretty sure that clicking update on the individual addon doesn't always get the latest version from the repo. In order to make sure you get the latest updates, you need to navigate to the 'slide out' menu on the left hand side (at least on the default skin) while in the addon browser, and then click check for updates. That forces a refresh of the repos themselves, and pulls the latest updates down.
lsl283 0
Thanks for the quick turn-around on the new version. Every TV in the house is dependent upon the Kodi/Emby add-on integration and the kids are on Winter break, so it was about to get ugly!
