costan 0
Hello, I just decided to go Premiere, and tried to use the Android App. It turns out the Live TV, that was working using the HTML5 in the browser, is not working on the APP. I tried both SD and HD channels. The logs show that the transcoding happens and the ffmpeg is run in both cases, but the screen stays black on the app. PC based browser streaming for the very same channel works flawlessly at the same time. I'm using TVH as backend for the tuner. Thanks for any help/hint. BR/ Andrea

costan 0
Here're the logs. Another thing I noted is that the HTML5 Player instructs ffmpeg to create .ts streams, while the app seems to ask for a mkv container.
Luke 36879
hi @@costan, try updating your ffmpeg build and let us know if that makes a difference. you can download from here and set it up under the server's transcoding menu https://www.johnvansickle.com/ffmpeg/ Let us know if this helps. Thanks ! Ciao Luke, I already have it: ffmpeg version 3.2.2-static http://johnvansickle.com/ffmpeg/ Copyright © 2000-2016 the FFmpeg developers Indeed, it's not the git version, but the 3.2.2.. oh, wait.. it's 3.3.2 on the site. I was fooled at first between 3.2.2 and 3.3.2. I'll try to upgrade and let you know..
