Creating new NFO files

Currently all of my movies have xml meta files because I scrape them with another program and not Emby. Well I am going to change all that I jump to using Emby as my scraper even though I have changes... I went into the Library foldered and checked all the items to alow Emby to download the data and also checked of to let Emby create the NFO files and use that as the main choice.

Problem is how do I get it to go through my entire collection and create them NFO files and also look for any missing images while it is at it? I know if I go into the Metadata Manager I can refresh a single movie and it will create the NFO file, but I don't want to do that for all the movies. I thought maybe doing a refresh on the partent MOVIE folder it would refresh all the movies under it, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

Also anyway to have it remove the XML file after it creates the NFO file?

Ok the Refresh did the trick, just took longer then I thought and I don't see a way to know that it is actually happening.

Another question. I set it to save the NFO file in the movie folder, and that is working perfect for BluRays. But my DVD's on the other hand seem to have issues, it is storing the NFO file inside of the VIDEO_TS folder as VIDEO_TS.nfo rather then in the main movie folder as the movie_name.nfo. Why is this happening?

More than likely do to Kodi standards.

Note: If your movie is ripped as VOB's and stored in a 'VIDEO_TS' folder, you will have to name the file 'VIDEO_TS.nfo' and place it in the same directory with the VIDEO_TS.ifo file.
