jdfisher 2
I can't get into the Live TV Settings under Manage server. I click on it and it doesn't load anything, I can access all other settings pages. Have been noticing issues in Live TV images and guide data also. Looks like my guide data has not updated in awhile, some channels are listed twice but only one has guide data on it. Was running beta channel but went back to stable and the issues persist. server-63613191017.txt Edited October 28, 2016 by jdfisher
Luke 37049
Did you go back and forth between the beta release and stable?
jdfisher 2
I went back from Beta to Stable just before posting this. Should I try going back to beta at this point? Edited October 28, 2016 by jdfisher
Luke 37049
Well you have plugins installed that are meant for the beta version, and that will cause problems if you roll back to stable. So you should either go back to beta, or remove all plugins, then reinstall plugins from the catalog so that you get the versions that are meant for the release you have. jdfisher 2
Went back to beta, can now access the setting page. The issue of the duplicate channels still persisted, but I manually ran Refresh Guide Data and the duplicates went away. Issues with missing scheduled shows and/or images appears to be gone. Did notice that all shows show as "Batman: The Animated Series" under recordings. This is a show that I have never had, so not even sure where/why it's pulling the images from, if you look at the episode names for them it shows the actual show name, season and episode numbers. This is also one of my issues that I have been having for several months. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/39392-live-tv-auto-organize-not-working/
Luke 37049
Hi, if you click on one of those recordings, what does the detail screen say?
jdfisher 2
Figured that one out. The was a nfo file for that series at the root of the series recording folder. Deleted the nfo and in meta data manager set that folder to TV instead of inherited. Rescanned the library and the correct images and meta data loaded. Catsrules 17
I figured out why it did thisI had my Recorded TV path and libary path set up to be/media/Video/Recorded-TV However by default Emby creates a new folder called Series to store TV shows so when it was done the actual path was /media/Video/Recorded-TV/Series Because my library path was setup to be /media/Video/Recorded-TV Emby was looking for TV shows in the root of Recorded-TV it only found Series, the best it could come up with was "Batman: The Animated Series" because Series is part of the name. Changing the library path to /media/Video/Recorded-TV/Series fixed the issue. Edited January 5, 2017 by Catsrules
