I updated my Mattermost server over the weekend, so thought I would give this another shot.

Still getting the same error message when trying to test the connection, but it does now work 😀

Hi, I would suggest attaching the Emby Server log as that will provide more information for the plugin developer to review. Thanks.

Yes, it does.  I haven't touched anything since it starting working, other than updating Mattermost.

Just a heads up, with the 4..8 server this will be temporarily broken until it gets updated:

I'm here to help so please let me know if you need anything. I see the source code is on github.

Since I'm not sure ackbarr is currently active, if I don't hear from him then I'll take care of updating this.

I thought I'd give the 4.8.0.21 beta a quick spin and check if this still works.

I can see it updated the Slack plugin afterward, but it no longer has any settings.  I assuming this is configured in the Webhooks menu now, so I copied across the incoming webhook URL from Mattermost and selected all of the events for any and any but I'm not seeing anything in Mattermost.  I get an error message when I test the webhook, but I used to get that before.

I've had a look at the log file and can't see anything, but I'll PM a copy.

Thanks

HI, what settings do you think are missing? Where are you looking for them?

I can't remember exactly how I configured the Slack plugin, but the webhooks plugin only had a name and URL.  I seem to remember the previous one had more options, like user and channel?

Either way, it's not working after updating from 4.7.11.0 to 4.8.0.21

Where am I looking for what?  On 4.7.11.0 there was a Slack Plugin with some configurable options where I entered the details for my Mattermost incoming webhooks (e.g. URL, username, channel - see screenshot) and this sent details of emby activities to my Mattermost server.

There are no configurable options for the Slack Plugin after updating to 4.8.0.21 so I've created a new Webhook and used the same Mattermost incoming webhooks URL and given it a name.  There are no other options that I can see, other than multiple check boxes for what notifications I want to send.  I've just left them all ticked, and the two drop-downs as any and any.

Even though my emby server has continued to be used, nothing is being received on my Mattermost server since upgrading.

It might just be easier for me to rollback the snapshot I tooked before upgrading, but I thought you might want to try and fix it?

The webhooks feature has nothing to do with the slack plugin. Have you explored the Notifications section?

No, I've rolled back to 4.7.11.0 and everything is working fine again.

I'll see how I get on when I update to 4.8.x again, but I still can't see where you configure the Slack/Mattermost server settings.
