Is there a way to setup 2 local accounts with no passwords to login with the "Friendly" login for Theater. Then a 3rd account with a password for remote login, without access to the 2 other accounts? I can't seem to get it setup where the 2 accounts with no password won't show remotely. I have the 2 other accounts setup where they can only be accessed by the local HTPC, and those accounts can't login remotely, that is until I login with the 3rd account user name and password. Once I have logged in with the 3rd account, I can swap users and login to the first 2 accounts with no password remotely, even if I use the logout option for the 3rd account first. The 2 other accounts remain wide open and accessible. Only way I can block access to the is to lock them with a password also.

I would also like to set when accessing remotely that only manual login is available for better security. I have been searching the forum and github wiki but can't lock things down remotely unless I lock them down locally. Appreciate any guidance. Thanks!

Set the option in the server for each user to use easy pin for in-network access but do not assign any pin to your users this will let them log on locally with no pw but still requires pw for remote access

Sounds perfect, will give it a go as soon as my server comes back online after the big database upgrade :) Thanks Vidman!

Finally got it to work. One account worked right off. If under Easy Pin Code it says Easy Pin Code, then it works. If I had a previous pin for a user and tried to erase it / zero it out, if I could get it to save where it says 'Easy Pin Code' then it will work. One account I was able to easy enough type in a few chracters in the pin field and then clear them to save a new blank code and it worked. One of the accounts I tried removing the previous pin I had set but it always still said '*******' indicating it had a pin still set and I kept getting prompted for a password. So I used the Reset Password tool thinking it might reset everything. I saved with no password at all. Then I added a password and saved. Then enabled the Easy Pin and it said 'Easy Pin Code' and I hit save to save it with no pin. Then tried to use ET to login but it seemed the account was now FUBAR because I could not login at all and I was getting an invalid user error. I deleted the user and re-added it without a pin and it works as expected now. Thanks for this tip! Works like a champ! Might be a slight glitch zeroing out existing pins.

Currently there is no reset option on the userpassword.html to reset pin code.  You have to go to the Profile page myprofile.html to reset pin if one is applies.  If you select your user icon you will see Profile in user preferences.

No you don't. for the pin, resetting is the same as just saving an empty value.

I haven't found a way to enter an empty value in that field in any browser.

I reported in this issue in web client forum awhile ago.

No way to clear set pin.  There is no way to set a empty value and save.  There is always a value in pin once one is set.  Userpassword.html

And going to myprofile.html still show active set pin but has a reset option.
