FR-ET Locked Chapter Skip Buttons

I'm finding it very irritating when I want to skip chapters. If I have just resumed, or just ffwd/rwd, I have to wait until the osd fades away to press the right/left arrow. I very much appreciate the ability to now use CTRL+SHIFT+f and CTRL+SHIFT+b for ffwd and rwd, is there any way we can add maybe "f" and "b" as standard chapter skip buttons? Or some other combination of buttons?

I don't understand why the media centre remote skip forward/backward buttons aren't mapped to chapters. I'd much rather use those buttons than left and right. Using left and right just seems like poor design to me. I'd also like to see the on screen display whilst I'm skipping chapters so I have some kind of visual indication of what I have done.

So that should be coming at some point. Remember that ET is still in development - it is not yet feature complete. 

 

The left / right chapter skip was a late addition to allow at least some play position navigation. I think most of us are hoping for chapter skips to be moved to the physical chapter skip buttons on remotes (and other length skips for the left/right & ffw/rew buttons).
