Also the link on the first page to media browser theatre is that the latest dev build? What would be excellent because of all the different versions being updated it would be an idea to have a separate download page with all different versions listed available to download and with the version numbers in order. Especially the Program Launcher program which took awhile to get set up correctly, including launching programs on the correct monitor. Gamebrowser will be a little easier to set up again. Play from optical disc is interesting. Will try it out. Should be a main view option with movies, tv and folders and not buried in the Apps view. Any idea when basic music support is coming? I now have a version of MBT that is not providing volume support correctly and have no way of rolling back to a previously working version. Essentially, I can not use MBT at the moment. I know MBT is still alpha, but as it becomes more of a 'go to' solution for viewing, it would be nice to be able to roll back to a working version when new updates might cause issues for a particular persons set up. I am working on playlist support for all media types which is an essential part of the music support. We have Live TV penned as a priority over Music right now but we have 4 guys working on MBT now so we should be getting MBT heading towards alpha a lot quicker. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As more people move to mbt you will probably find this request. The issue is when the images change in the gui the cpu spike is oddly quite high, (the system cpu usage spikes for about 5 seconds to about 23% until the image is fully changed) obviously this is not good at all for gaming. Im just wondering what the options are to fix this issue, can we have an option to turn off changing images in the gui? Maybe something else? Perhaps the ability to set the screensaver/backdrop as a single static image and ability to have it kick in at a certain time (1 minute)? But it makes the great steam plugin hard to use. If you're familiar with Volume Shadow Copy, you might be able to revert your MBT folder to a previous version, and hang tight for an follow-on update that won't cause this issue. Running it on a Lenovo IdeaCenter Q150, Seems to work good even on it's limited resources. One thing I would like to see is the ability to change the font ... or maybe better still, a theme designed for smaller TVs - My 32" tv+MBT+49 year old eyes+10feet = can't read show description. Shaun 93 Posted April 8, 2014 Share Posted April 8, 2014 I didn't actually mean a remote (although that would be nice). What I meant was MBT will become windowed, and I want it to be full screen. In a program like MPC-HC I just double click anywhere in the application and it goes back to full screen. This is where the but comes in. At the beginning I did not mind going to the info page then going down to play. But now I find it is to many clicks to get to what I want to watch. Also in the TV shows there is a lot of repetitiveness. So here are some Ideas I have. One is in the poster wall it just directly plays the movie. If I want to see more info and go to chapters etc I hit the info button and it goes there. If the movie is partially done and has a resume point. I have a screen. that will show it. Shaun 93 Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 you can skip all the navigation - just press play on the remote or play keyboard shortcut and MBT will play the currently selected item. Now if you remote play a playable item on the home page, including tv & media view it will play it. One difference from elsewhere is that in the home screen , it will resume rather than play if the item is resumable.
