BeppoMonkeyBoy 98
Also because someone asked for it, i've added a Movies version of the Timelord plug-in to the catalog as a freebie, should appear soon.
pritch33 5
Nice theme. When I first open Emby all my folders are showing as fully watched (green tick) other than recorded TV that has a count on it showing how many programs I have to watch. When I go into the folders Movies , watched Movies and so on it all seems Ok, those I have watched have there green tick those not watched are unticked as they should be. Thanks Ray
BeppoMonkeyBoy 98
I assume this is with the sub folders view, where you get favourates, resume etc..?
bxsteez 3
Anybody have any idea why this theme is moving extremely slow for me? I can post a log but I wanted to see if people were experiencing this too.

Sorry I assume you are replying to me No it is not the sub folder view it is the main screen folders that have a big green tick as to show all watched. The sub folders seem to be fine. I will try and get some screen shots to help explain. Thanks Ray PS enjoying the theme

jack1574 2
Hi BeppoMonkeyBoy, I use this as my main theme as well and really like the layout and colors. I am not sure if this is a request or just something i can turn on for myself but i would to be able to use the "next up" menu as part of the top level menu. it would be even better if I could use next up when i got to tv by default. is there any way of doing this?? Cheers Jack.

Cheers Jack. if you mean making it part of the default lists then no, not at this moment, I did try and do that as part of my original implementation but i couldn't get it to work right, hence the separate button in the menu, the menu is accessible from almost every screen though, and next up is basically the only option i use at the moment for TV. I do need to do some changes for this theme, as i've been using kodi quite a lot and quite like a few cosmetic features that i want to try and replicate, especially on my summary screen (which i've never been 100% happy with), and hopefully I can finish my other themes i've been working on. throgmorton 96
Well I hope you don't make this a premium plugin what with the stolen code and all...
Luke 37058
Well I hope you don't make this a premium plugin what with the stolen code and all... hey, if you can do HTML, you can resurrect one of your old themes as an Emby Theater skin: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/blog/1/entry-290-introducing-the-new-emby-theater-for-windows-and-the-web/
throgmorton 96
I actually came back for the first time in a couple of years to see what effort would be involved in updating my themes to work but this has kinda soured me... And yes I do know HTML and CSS...

Done, Its not a concern its fact, He's not the only one who can deconstruct a DLL, He didn't even change the names or architecture or even outdated comments in some of the MCML. I just noticed Eric's comment and didn't want him to charge people for something he stole.
Luke 37058
Understood. In other news, today I whipped up a blog post on how to fork the default skin: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/blog/1/entry-302-learn-how-to-create-skins-for-emby-theater/

I freely admit that I used your look and feel, for the original basis for the theme, as I referenced in my first post, but its not "Stolen", my theme is based on the Chocolate source, as well as the old pre-mb3 source that was floating about years ago, the structure is based off that, as well as the XMBC/Kodi themes that the main views are derived from in the first place, I've not 'Stolen' it, and as far as i can tell only about 8 people even use the thing, as mbc is a dying beast. throgmorton 96
So what is this free pre MB3 code you speak of cause all my Themes are pre MB3. Doing a simple comparison between the MCML the code is identical even down to the spaces with the only difference being one name really. There's even MCML code in there which Chocolate never had nor any of the other themes. So that's all just coincidence? There's even MCML code in there which Chocolate never had nor any of the other themes. So that's all just coincidence? The code I'm referring too is the old google code, diamond or vanilla or something like that, but only as a way of learning mcml, and some code from stackoverflow or at the time expersexchange when i still had a subscription, of some of the old themes that where available, which went into my old personal themes that I've never released, since i don't have the original throg mcml, I can't do a direct comparison, but my theme, is basically the new chocolate with a bunch of views that I edited to mimic some of the throg views, in fact all of the management is basic chocolate, the rest is custom code, with api calls and a bunch of other stuff from kodi views, i'd bet there is still some mcml in my resources file that isn't even used from my old Manhattan theme which is why its so bloated, and even some code where i'm trying to read the old throg config files so i didn't have to re-do all my settings from scratch. The original Throg themes where excellent, and i only created mine so i could still use media center the way i wanted too, until a better theme came along. Quite honestly that is laughable you didn't even change the names of half the things... What you have MicrosoftSucksTimer as well??? WallBounces??? Hell on one page you just stripped out all the license blocking stuff except the LicenseTimer, and you even left in my Debug UI in too boot which no other seems had. Image reference names are common even all the of my menu interfaces functions in the MyConfig.cs. Do you even know why there is a function called TestThumbSize??? You have funcitions in your MCML which you don't even have in your MyConfig.cs so the program will just crash because you stripped things out until your "ready too implement" them... There are so many numerous things I could point to such as off screen images in identical locations, even your Plugin.cs is a copy of my skinning and sound changing (which BTW I got uproar from the community about). So your basically telling me all these things are just coincidence and that you got all this from old code, I find it really hard to believe... phantomscribbler 3
Interestingly if i search "wallbounce mcml" in google i get an interesting hit, in fact depending on what i type in, based off that search, i get quite a lot more info, in fact if the code wasn't archived by google code, it would be a lot more visible, so i could see how a few years back someone looking at mcml info would come across this. phantomscribbler 3
in fact... https://code.google.com/archive/p/throgsoft/source/default/source isn't that your entire source code ready to download? and even export out to git-hub? Took me 2 mins to find this just by googling the bits of code you've highlighted and mcml, its been in the wild since before September 2011. Exactly my code, and all he did was strip out the licensing portion of the code and make a few tweaks, so this BS that it was from other projects other than mine was complete non-sense, and his "re-implementation" is basically just un-commenting sections of my code which he just understand. My issue as I have told ebr is that charging for it as a premium plugin is wrong. Making themes that look like mine I have no issue with, hell many of mine were inspired by XBMC but I didn't go blatanly take there code. I wrote it up myself to look similar. And the code he took was from a much later date anyways and I've already send @@ebr the proof (more like a 2013ish) probably decompiled from one my latest DLLs.
