e123enitan 236
OK just about going out will post log when I get back-Thanks for looking into the issue Most recent server logs Just a thought what is the issue with the server and has the MBC logs helps to identify what might caused the issue of not been able to configured MBC-Thanks as usually. ebr 14902
Well, your first link is not to one of our logs. The second one is but it contains no interaction with MBC. You need to find a log that actually has the problem we are looking for in it. To do that, clear out all the logs on the server and then re-start it. Then bring up MBC and cause the problem. Then post the server log. Thanks.

Luke 36997
yea i see the problem. i will fix server-side. in the meantime, if the client is reporting capabilities it won't happen, so a workaround i think might be to actually launch mbc once and get logged into the server, before using the configurator. ebr 14902
He isn't able to get into MBC either. What is the situation that causes this?
Luke 36997
the combination of using the new user-device access control feature and the server not having client capabilities for a device yet.
ebr 14902
Okay, so if he eliminates his device access control information and then gets connected to MBC once, he should be able to restore the device access and be good to go?

e123enitan 236
So what is the next line of action? Should I disable UAC thereafter configured MBC, would this approach not impact Wins 7 security? Pls provide direction as I am not sure of what to do. Thanks
ebr 14902
No, it is not UAC. It is an area within the server where you setup certain users to only be able to be accessed from certain devices. You need to clear out these options and allow access from all devices for all your users. Then log in to MBC on all your machines. Then you can go back and put the restrictions back in.
