ginjaninja 533
@@Redshirt I use both MB3 and Plex media servers, with trakt plugin on both. both work with trakt in their own right, and most of the time if i watch something on one, the other platform is updated. However I have some episodes of various shows, on my trakt profile with status 'watched'/''scrobbled by plex', , which MB3 does not changed to 'watched', even when i manually sync using the mb3 task. Any ideas how a show can be watched on traktt, but MB3 not update itself when a sync task is run.. any ideas how i might troubleshoot. The sync task doesnt error 2014-09-05 23:54:03.1429 Info - App: IntervalTrigger fired for task: Import playstates from Trakt.tv 2014-09-05 23:54:03.1439 Info - App: Executing Import playstates from Trakt.tv 2014-09-05 23:54:03.1759 Info - App: HttpClientManager POST: http://api.trakt.tv/user/library/movies/all.json/77449c38c9f4f9b3cdb8d3f9ef0566b167a935eb/nicholas.bird 2014-09-05 23:54:05.9931 Info - App: HttpClientManager POST: http://api.trakt.tv/user/library/shows/collection.json/77449c38c9f4f9b3cdb8d3f9ef0566b167a935eb/nicholas.bird 2014-09-05 23:54:06.9911 Info - App: HttpClientManager POST: http://api.trakt.tv/user/library/shows/watched.json/77449c38c9f4f9b3cdb8d3f9ef0566b167a935eb/nicholas.bird 2014-09-05 23:54:07.3462 Info - Trakt: tMovies count = 2015 2014-09-05 23:54:07.3462 Info - Trakt: tShowsCollection count = 448 2014-09-05 23:54:07.3582 Info - Trakt: tShowsWatched count = 139 2014-09-05 23:54:09.0173 Debug - HttpServer: HttpConnection keep alive timer fired. 2014-09-05 23:54:10.4344 Debug - HttpServer: HttpConnection keep alive timer fired. 2014-09-05 23:54:17.9031 Info - App: Import playstates from Trakt.tv Completed after 0 minute(s) and 14 seconds
Redshirt 1487
Is it just episodes, or are movie watched states being missed as well?
ginjaninja 533
It seems both products are missing content in both directions for both film and tv. MB3->Trakt>Plex Plex>Trakt>MB3 Both Trakt plugins for MB3 and Plex (as well as the trakt ui) seem to distinguish between content being 'watched-scrobbled by MB3/Plec' and being 'watched-manually marked as watched' by a client. All manually 'mark as watched' content get syncronised between both media servers reliably it seems. All 'scrobbled' content does not get synchornised...even though the end result of trakt watched status being updated is correct. So it would seem both your (and the plex authors trakt) client / the trakt api , makes a distinction between manually 'marked as watched' and 'scrobbled'. status of content which is scrobbled by one media server is not consumed by the other media server...it seems. Redshirt 1487
Trakt.tv is retiring their current API at the end of this month, assuming their migration to their 2.0 API goes as planned. We'll have to see if this is still an issue after the plugin is updated to the new API.
RampantRedsFan 0
It seems as if this is still an issue. Did the API migration go as planned or are we still waiting on the migration to happen? Thanks.
