Where are the options for changing things like hardware decoding, deinterlacing etc?

I can't see them in the UI of the latest version I'm running (2.295.0)

I compared the remote control functions of Emby WMC UI with the good-old MCE: most buttons work the same, but a few buttons don't:

• Channel-+         : doesn't work
• Channel--          : doesn't work
• TV                      : goes to an empty screen, if no channel is choosen before, otherwise it returns to the active TV-channel...: why not start live-TV if not started ?
• Fast-foreward  : shows the line and runs faster, but....how to activate at certain point (play doesn't work) ?
• Fast-backward : simular
• 0 until 9             : doesn't work....which is anoying, as this is basically the main function of a remote control.....
• colors                : red, green, orange and blue: doesn't work

General: if you are in the EPG and chose an active program (which can play immediately), activate live-TV immediately (and thus not the screen: play channel, record or series record): this is (as far I know) simular as in the original MCE....if a user likes to record Live-TV, just use the record-red button....this makes using a remote control even easier...one click less to live-TV...If the program is 'in the future' when choosen fromout the EPG, the existing screen (with the choice of record, etc.) should be shown: as is. 

As good-old MCE 'heavy' user, I like to help you finding WMC UI 'compatibilty' with MCE issue, in order to make it easier for you to solve them!

The release says teh latest for Windows is WMC UI 2.277.0.0-Beta. I tried that version but live tv did not play so what is the difference with the version I am using? 

Could you please advise which platform is running Emby WMC the best/fastest/flex on ?, or should I stay with Win11 (on a i7-NUC) as platform ?

• New WMC UI Windows App
  the beta for the new Windows app is near completion. As soon as it is released, you can expect a new WMC beta for Windows based on the same application modes
   
• WMC UI for Linux
  Shortly, we will start a beta for a new Emby Linux app (non-wmc). Same here, only after the main app's beta is over, we can have a WMC version of it, as we cannot let WMC UI matters distract the primary apps' testing. But the good new is that we can finally have a Linux WMC app, which we don't have yet

Still really not sure what's new, "Fixes and quality improvements" doesn't really say much...

Metadata should be scraped by different plug-ins. Please add a proxy menu in the background menu, which allows users to choose which plug-ins use the proxy and save the proxy configuration. This will solve the problem that scraping requires the proxy but the main program does not use the proxy. Now the WAN access: http://proxyIP:8096 is not the local public IP. There are also many upnp error logs in the background log.

When scrolling using the Remote Control (RC), vertically through the EPG if live-TV is visible at the background, the scrolling mostly spontaneous continues allthough the up or down key on the RC is not pressed anymore. This unwanted response contineous and is very anying..... If live-TV is stopped, this contineous scrolling doesn't happen.....thus it seems to be related to live-TV on the background of the EPG....

Could this be fixed ?

Some kind of history about this issue as far as I remember:

• A certain moment in the past/certain versions I don't remember, a new feature was introduced by displaying the stationname+channelnumber initially in the right lower corner, but now in the left upper corner...
• As it from the start on, didn't disappear, it was obvious a bug (it only disaapears after restarting Emby WMC UI).... 
• Compared to the recentely new designed Emby Windows v2.2xxx, this feature is NOT available there, thus it seems only available in the new Emby WMC UI v2.2.xxxx....  

But:

• It's not always visible and sometimes appears: reproducing it is difficult or simply not possible due to this unstable behaviour
• Question: is this a new featue which is simply not working as it should ? OR is it not intended to be there...or...?
