roberto188 33
The latest Roku app update from the Beta to the regular release made my Roku 3 choke on transcoded TV streams 720p 60 fps at bitrates above 4 mbits. The beta didn't have an issue. I had it set at 720p 10 mbits and it played perfectly.

You love Blue Neon Night and I am here to make you love the Emby Beta just as much. The fact you aren't means we are lacking. We don't like to lack. How can we improve? We haven't made any changes to the video player that would affect this. It might be something going on with Emby server or transcoding itself. Can you check the stats for nerds in the app when this happens. Give us a screenshot/picture of that. It will help you state your case. I understand your issue but we need to prove where the issue is the app(directplay/directstream/remux) or is the server(transcoding)? Seeing the stats for nerds will also help give us clues to media type and all sorts of other juicy related information. Thanks. roberto188 33
Speechless, Yes I do love blue neon and I was warming up the beta Roku app. Setting it to 720p 10mbits was a nice setting for my Roku 3. It would allow the 720p stations to direct stream (all are under 10mbits) and transcode the 1080i stations, which is required because although Roku 3 can direct play mpeg 2, it cannot deinterlace. When I got rid of the beta and went to the official release the audio got out of sync. I will run both and dump the logs for your guys to chew on. Thanks!
