TheShanMan 34
I was pleasantly surprised by the new interface recently. Wow!!!!!! Aside from the fact that skipping the specified number of seconds doesn't seem to be working quite right (or I don't understand it), I'd REALLY like to have the old "enter a minute mark, then press play to go to that minute mark" option. For example, type "3, 7, play" to start playing at 37 minutes after the beginning of the video. Any chance that option is coming, or that it would be considered for addition?

TheShanMan 34
Awesome. I can't believe how much you guys are improving the MBC player interface. I always thought it was pretty much "you get what WMC gives you" so this is quite a welcome surprise. Thank you guys!
spitrage 0
Has this been added yet, I upgraded and lost this ability, do I need to enable something in the configuration to get this to work again?
ebr 14850
Yeah, a long time ago. From the doc on how it works pinned at the top of this forum: Direct Seek By punching in a number and hitting the 'Play' button on your remote you can cause the current item to seek to that exact position. How it seeks depends on the number you enter. Enter a single number like '100' - This will seek directly to 100 minutes into the video. Enter two numbers separated by a '.' (you will probably need a programmable remote or keyboard to get the '.') - This will seek to minutes.seconds of the video Enter three numbers separated by periods - This will seek to hours.minutes.seconds of the video Any attempt to direct seek beyond the length of the video is ignored.
