huffyX0X0 4
My girlfriend is trying to access my server from her work, but all that she's getting is a white page from firefox that says: Redirecting you to http://(hostname):(port) then she says she times out. I'm gonna assume its her firewall or the place she works at that is now allowing her to access it. Could it be another problem? Thanks in advance! Happy2Play 8242
I assume she is using the proper url? Why not try app.emby.media then?

huffyX0X0 4
I assume she is using the proper url? Why not try app.emby.media then? Yes she was, and the app.emby.media page works, then when she gets to connect a server manually, and enters the host name, she isn't able to connect and does the same thing. Luke 37007
What did you give her to enter as a host name?
huffyX0X0 4
i tried both, the ip address (not the static ip address of my PC, but the IP address provided by my provider) and host name that i set up with no-ip.com (which would be easier to remember instead of an ip address which is [mylastname]embyserver.ddns.net And she says that it still doesn't work. Could it be the port number I am using that the firewall is blocking? Because she can access the app.emby.media site, but once she enters the host name or ip address and connects it doesn't work.
