jasonwilliams 29
For any Xbox users out there... Looks like Microsoft broke dlna playback with the latest Groove update. Anything you play-to Xbox will result in Xbox trying to install the older version of Groove. Endless loop. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Luke 37053
Thanks for the info! Now we know what to say to users when they report "Emby not working"
coolspot 18
I don't use the Groove app for DLNA, I use Media Player app, did you try that?

jasonwilliams 29
I should clarify: The Play-To functionality for music is broken. Videos will Play-To the media player and it works fine. You can also use MP to browse the music folders.
dredrizzah 2
As far as DLNA is concern. Is anyone else getting multiple Xbox One devices in their device list? If so does anyone know why this is happening? All of my other devices show up as one device, but the Xbox One is there multiple times. It's like every time the Xbox One powers on it looks at it as a new device.
jasonwilliams 29
I'm not seeing that on mine. Which client are you using?

johnbury 4
I am seeing this too (multiuple entries (100s) for XBox in DLNA Devices list) It has been happening for quite a time for me. Having some issues with DLNA at the moment but do not know where the issue lies. I will report this in a new thread Cheers
chef 3745
I have been getting multiple Xbox one devices for a long time. It is because the Xbox one generates a new UUID each time it starts, so emby thinks it is a new device in the network.
